I have used Moose Lake Vet Clinic for years and have always been very happy with the service. I have noticed the past few times I’ve been there they seemed more expensive than they used to. Today I brought my Golden Retriever in to have his nail trimmed and his anal glands expressed. He was difficult to take in the back room because of his size. I helped get him in the back room and the tech brought him back out 10-15 minutes later. My bill was $60! It has never been that much. I asked why it was so expensive and was told there was a tech charge of $20 to hold my dog while his glands were expressed. Too rich for my blood. Disappointed.

Apr 16, 2025 · Maggie WillsIncredibly happy with Moose Lake Veterinary Clinic and the services they provide. They are professional, accommodating, clean and kind. i currently bring in 2 of my dogs and Im very happy with the level of care they receive each visit. i also think that their prices are fairly priced and that makes it easier to prioritize your animals health. When I first started bringing my boys here, I had to get some paperwork sent over from another Vet clinic in another State. I wasn’t having the easiest time getting it done and one of their front desk workers took the time to sit on the phone and get the records. They really do all they can to help you. Those little things mean a lot for me and that solidified my decision to make this my boys main clinic for care.
Mar 19, 2024 · Tia TokkesdalI have been a customer for over 20 years. They used to be the best. Not so much anymore. Services and prices are extremely high. Higher in comparison to other clinics. They don't answer incoming calls. High turn over with employees. Feel rushed, which makes me feel they're in it for the money not the patient. Rude, defensive receptionists. I cringe having to go there. Going downhill since Frank retired.
Jan 23, 2025 · Katy GreenNot only great for routine visits but they’ve been great for our 2 recent emergency trips. Everyone there cares for both animal and the human that brought them in. Wonderful bunch of folks over there!
Apr 02, 2025 · Marissa StricklandWent there today to have all three of our cats checked out and given some basic treatments. Getting scheduled could be a bit of an issue as their schedule is booked out a ways. They're also only accepting clients in the area. I find stopping in easier then leaving a message but either will do. Very good service? Their knowledgeable and aware of the fiscal impacts of services can have on pet parents.
