Moore Veterinary Hospital

I brought my 14 year old Maltese in as a new patient with what I believed to be a respiratory infection. Blood work indicated severe liver problems, as well. The entire staff was kind, knowledgeable, and very understanding with what I was and was not able to do for my pet. The agreed upon treatment would be medication to keep her comfortable and hopefully to entice her appetite again. In the weeks of care for my dog, she has improved quite a bit on medication. If you didn’t know the blood work for her liver was bad, you wouldn’t even know my sweet, old girl had anything wrong. But, at her age and the levels of her liver function, we are aware our time with her is precious and limited. We feel like we are in very good hands with the staff and Dr. Hilton there while we continue to monitor and keep her comfortable.

The doctors and staff at Moore Veterinary Hospital has been like family for over 14 years! They have always taken such good care of our sweet Quincy. So grateful for them and all they do to make our visit pleasant and as stress free as possible for us and our due baby!

Our family LOVES Dr. Hilton. He is very focused on his patients and helping their parents understand what is happening. He presents information in a thoughtful way as to not cause unnecessary worry, which we really appreciate and value. He is very thorough and makes sure that we understand what is happening with our girls, why he is making the recommendations he does, and what we should expect. So happy he is at Moore! Also, we love the rest of the staff there! The staff who answer the phone are always so kind and helpful and everyone we encounter is so compassionate and kind. When they have to take our girls back for X-rays or bloodwork they treat them so lovingly. It really makes a difference when we are always worried about our girls.

I absolutely love Dr. Burcham. I take both my dachshunds to her. She is very thorough, genuine, honest, and kind. You can tell she loves animals and enjoys her work. I would definitely recommend taking your pup to her if you want them well taken care of.

Dr. Burcham and staff are so kind and compassionate. I have a reactive rescue dog who they are so patient and understanding with. They take time to listen and take all of my concerns seriously. I have had previous experiences at other vet offices where they treat my muzzle trained dog like he’s a vicious animal, but not Dr. Burcham. Instead, she takes the time to compliment the training and trust you’ve built with your pet while she slowly and gently examines him. Every time I leave an appointment I think about how much I appreciate the kind staff at Moore.

I took my senior dog (about 15 years old) here because he was experiencing teeth issues. After his initial exam I felt comfortable with getting his teeth cleaned. This was something I never felt with other vets I took him to. The vet explained the process and I felt confident that nothing would happen to him when he was undergoing his cleaning. When I picked him up they explained his post care in detail. He recovered perfectly and is doing great.
