Welcome to Mobile Veterinary Clinic
For pet parents in Auburn, NY, and the surrounding areas, the concept of a "Pet Hospital" takes on a unique and highly convenient form with **Mobile Veterinary Clinic**. Located at 5636 S Street Rd, Auburn, NY 13021, this practice, led by the experienced and highly regarded **Dr. Iris Goldfarb**, offers a distinct approach to veterinary care. Unlike traditional brick-and-mortar hospitals, Mobile Veterinary Clinic provides a service model centered around accessibility and personalized attention, often bringing veterinary care directly to your doorstep or offering a more intimate clinical setting.
The core of the **Mobile Veterinary Clinic** experience revolves around convenience and a personal touch. While the name suggests mobility, the primary address indicates a fixed location for their operations, making them a dedicated pet hospital that might also offer mobile services or prioritize a less conventional, more accessible approach. The focus here is on delivering high-quality veterinary care in a way that aims to reduce stress for both pets and their owners. This can be particularly beneficial for animals who experience anxiety in traditional clinic environments, or for owners with multiple pets, mobility challenges, or busy schedules. The phone number, (315) 252-9085 or +1 315-252-9085, serves as the direct line to schedule appointments and inquire about their services.
The environment, while not explicitly detailed in terms of physical waiting rooms or examination areas, can be inferred through the nature of a mobile or small-scale clinic. This often translates to a calmer, less overwhelming atmosphere for pets compared to large, bustling hospitals. The emphasis is likely on a more focused and direct interaction between the veterinarian, the pet, and the owner. The goal is to create a comfortable and trusting environment, whether in a mobile unit or a more compact, dedicated clinic space, where pets feel at ease and receive undivided attention.
In terms of **services**, as a "Pet Hospital" category platform, Mobile Veterinary Clinic would typically offer a comprehensive range of general veterinary care. This would include, but not be limited to, routine wellness examinations, vaccinations, parasite prevention and control, minor illness diagnostics and treatment, and preventative care. Given the context of a mobile or personalized clinic, there's a strong likelihood of services being tailored to the individual needs of each pet. While specific advanced procedures like complex surgeries or extensive imaging might be referred to larger facilities, the foundation of care would be built on maintaining overall pet health and addressing common medical concerns. The reported **fair prices** are a notable positive, suggesting an accessible option for quality care.
The **features** of Mobile Veterinary Clinic, as highlighted by customer feedback, truly set it apart. The most prominent feature is the expertise and dedication of **Dr. Iris Goldfarb**. With a loyal clientele spanning 40 years, her experience and unwavering commitment to animal welfare are evident. Customers consistently praise her ability to provide "the best care of your animals" and her continuous presence for their pets through various life stages. This long-standing trust is a testament to the quality and consistency of her practice. The personalized approach is also a key feature; clients feel their pets are truly cared for, not just treated as another appointment.
However, it is important to address all available information, including feedback that offers a different perspective. One review highlighted a significant communication and policy issue, describing a "do not reschedule" designation following a canceled appointment for a deceased pet. This reviewer also noted discrepancies in medical documentation and a perceived "lack of compassion" in handling the situation. While this appears to be an isolated incident, it's crucial for prospective clients to be aware that administrative processes and communication styles can vary. The concern raised about the ability to delete negative reviews to inflate ratings is also a point for consideration, suggesting that while many experiences are positive, some administrative practices might warrant further inquiry for new clients.
Despite this isolated negative experience, the overwhelming sentiment from long-term clients points to a practice that prioritizes the health and well-being of animals. The longevity of Dr. Goldfarb's practice and the deep loyalty of her clients speak volumes about the positive impact she has had on countless pets and their families. This consistency and dedication are strong promotional points for anyone seeking a reliable and caring veterinarian.
In conclusion, **Mobile Veterinary Clinic** in Auburn, NY, offers a unique and highly praised veterinary experience, primarily driven by the extensive experience and compassionate care provided by Dr. Iris Goldfarb. While the specific details of its "mobile" operations or facility layout are not exhaustively described, the essence of its service lies in its commitment to accessible, fair-priced, and deeply personalized pet care. For pet owners valuing long-term relationships with their veterinarian and a compassionate approach to animal health, Mobile Veterinary Clinic presents a compelling option within the Pet Hospital category.

Aug 22, 2024 · Lori CareyMoments after my 1 star review posted, it was removed (possibly bc I posted with my maiden name?) I called to schedule an appt for my cat as a new patient. Previously I had an appt scheduled for my elderly dog for December 30th. My dog passed away on December 26th. I called (likely through tears) following his passing to cancel his appt and had left a voicemail to cancel the appt. I was told that they would not schedule my cat bc I was a “do not reschedule” for being a “no show” for my deceased pet. Additionally, the reason for the scheduled visit was documented incorrectly… to check his eye versus the reason I made the appt which was his coughing. Following me posting the review, the woman I spoke with called me back to clarify and justify their decision. I had been advised I could wait two weeks to connect with the owner to review my case. Due to the combination of inaccurate medical documentation, poor record keeping and complete lack of compassion, I will not be pursing this. The only reason we were seeking a new vet at the late stage in my dogs life to begin with was that our vet retired and the practice closed. We will be looking to establish with a new vet that shares the values he had, which included compassionate care for pets and their families. I am also cautious about their ability to delete negative reviews to inflate their rating .
Mar 08, 2025 · Victoria ProvoMs. Goldfarb was very gentle knowledgeable and understanding. My dog is very skittish around strangers and This vet was so good with my dog. I feel blessed that I found her.
Feb 25, 2025 · PamelaThere is no veterinarian like Iris Goldfarb in this world. I have lived out west and down south, but there was never a caring animal physician like her to help me keep my furry loved ones healthy. Her heart is bigger than any GROUP of vets you can stack up. Our 14 year old, incredibly courageous Akita needed assistance going to the afterlife tonight. Iris, my family and I speak for ourselves and our deceased dog Gossi that took her last breath tonight in your care… Mike, Courtney & Nick LoPiccolo LOVE YOU AND WE THANK YOU!
Dec 21, 2024 · MikeWe couldn’t get into our regular vet for a long time and our cat was peeing blood. No one else was taking new clients. She was wonderful and took us in a matter of days. Wonderful with our cat and understanding. Louie healed well with an long lasting antibiotic shot.
