Mitten Animal Hospital

Dr Coleman and staff are amazing. I bring in rescues all the time, some very fearful and they do not scare them and work very well with them. There’s not another vet I’d trust! Amazing 100 stars if I could!!!

We have been taking our pets to Dr. Coleman for 9 years. This week we had to put our dog down. I cannot say enough good things about this office. She was not the kindest dog and they always knew how to handle her and give her the same treatment as any other dog. Dr. Coleman was always in contact with us regarding her health up until the very end. He is the same way with our cats and we are so lucky to have such an amazing vet to take care of our animals.

I’m so thankful to have found this office! Dr Coleman is so kind and he genuinely cares about your pet and you. He gives you time to be able to discuss and talk through treatments or any issues that may arise. He is NOT ripping you off and ringing up the cost of your bill which is such a breath of fresh air from how most vet clinics can be. It’s nice to find a place that really seems to care about you and your pet instead of just making as much money as possible.

Dr. Coleman and his supporting staff are always so kind and offer unbiased help. The waiting room is never busy and they all take the time to listen to you and answer all your questions. They are harder to schedule with because of how popular they are and he is only one doctor, so if you have emergengies or unexpected things that come up, it can be hard to get in, but I have been to a few vets in the surrounding area during a time that I could not get my million dollar dog in to Mitten and the care has not been great. I do have a back up vet now for things that might pop up, but I still prefer Mitten.

So thankful for Dr. Coleman and his incredible staff - they take such good care of our pups, and they made the absolute worst experience of having to chose to lay one of ours to rest infinitely more bearable. Have had to do that before at a different vet in town, and it was awful... while it's never not-awful, it was made much more comfortable and comforting by Dr. Coleman and I will never take my dogs anywhere else. He's caring, and reasonable, not over-aggressive with treatment and makes you a part of the decisions without making you feel bad about whatever decisions you make (have also had that happen at another vet in town!). So thankful for Dr. Coleman and his amazing team!
