Missouri Veterinary Dermatology Center Introduce
Welcome to the Missouri Veterinary Dermatology Center, a specialized "Pet Hospital Near Me" located in Wentzville, Missouri. Situated at 1092 Wentzville Pkwy, Wentzville, MO 63385, USA, this veterinary center focuses specifically on the dermatological health of your beloved animal companions. As a specialized pet hospital, the Missouri Veterinary Dermatology Center offers expertise and advanced care for pets suffering from various skin conditions, allergies, and related issues.
The provided information includes the center's name, contact details (phone number: (636) 332-5041, mobile phone: +1 636-332-5041, address: 1092 Wentzville Pkwy, Wentzville, MO 63385, USA), and two contrasting customer reviews. One review states, "Our sweet Lion is in good hands every time we go to MU Veterinary Hospital." It is important to note that this review explicitly mentions "MU Veterinary Hospital," which might indicate a potential affiliation or past association with the University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center. This positive comment suggests trust and confidence in the care provided, at least within the context of that specific experience or location.
The second review presents a significant negative experience. The customer details a situation where a crucial refrigerated medication, costing $900, was delayed by 36 hours during July due to an allegedly inaccurate home address recorded by the clinic over the phone, despite the correct information being emailed. As a result of this delay, the medication was deemed ineffective. The reviewer further claims that the staff refused to take responsibility for their error and that the Missouri Veterinary Dermatology Center responded to the negative review by allegedly adding the reviewer's email to their spam list. This detailed negative feedback raises serious concerns about administrative processes, customer service, and accountability at the center.
Given the specialized nature of the Missouri Veterinary Dermatology Center as a "Pet Hospital Near Me" focusing on dermatology, the environment of the clinic is likely equipped to handle dermatological examinations, treatments, and procedures. This might include specialized examination rooms with appropriate lighting and equipment for visualizing skin conditions, areas for preparing topical medications, and potentially facilities for allergy testing or other dermatological diagnostics. The environment would need to be clean and conducive to the comfort and safety of pets undergoing examination and treatment for often irritating skin issues.
The services offered at the Missouri Veterinary Dermatology Center would primarily revolve around diagnosing and treating skin conditions in pets. This could include consultations for various dermatological issues such as allergies (environmental, food), infections (bacterial, fungal), parasitic infestations (fleas, ticks, mites), autoimmune skin diseases, hormonal skin disorders, and skin cancer. The center would likely offer diagnostic procedures such as skin scrapings, biopsies, allergy testing (intradermal or blood tests), and potentially advanced imaging if skin-related complications warrant it. Treatment options would range from topical and oral medications to specialized therapies and potentially surgical interventions for certain skin conditions.
As a specialized "Pet Hospital Near Me," the key feature of the Missouri Veterinary Dermatology Center is its focused expertise in veterinary dermatology. This specialization allows them to offer a higher level of knowledge and experience in diagnosing and managing complex skin conditions compared to a general veterinary practice. Pet owners whose animals are suffering from persistent or severe skin issues often seek out such specialized centers for more targeted and effective treatment. The potential affiliation with MU Veterinary Hospital, as mentioned in the positive review, could also be seen as a feature, suggesting access to university-level expertise and resources, although this connection needs to be verified for the Wentzville location.
However, the negative review highlights a significant potential drawback related to administrative processes and customer service. Accurate record-keeping, especially concerning medication delivery, is crucial in veterinary care. The alleged failure to properly record an address and the subsequent lack of accountability, as described by the reviewer, are serious concerns for pet owners entrusting the center with their animal's health and expensive medications. The alleged action of adding the reviewer's email to spam further compounds these concerns regarding their approach to customer feedback.
Due to the limited and conflicting nature of the provided reviews, it is challenging to ascertain a comprehensive and unbiased view of the overall customer experience at the Missouri Veterinary Dermatology Center in Wentzville. The positive mention of "MU Veterinary Hospital" might not directly reflect the services at the Wentzville location. The negative review, while concerning, represents a single customer's experience. Prospective local users should consider both pieces of feedback when evaluating this "Pet Hospital Near Me" for their pet's dermatological needs.
No promotional information is provided in the given data. It is common for veterinary clinics to offer introductory specials, seasonal promotions, or package deals for certain services. Local users interested in learning about any current promotions at the Missouri Veterinary Dermatology Center should contact them directly at (636) 332-5041 or +1 636-332-5041 or visit their location at 1092 Wentzville Pkwy, Wentzville, MO 63385, USA.
In conclusion, the Missouri Veterinary Dermatology Center in Wentzville, MO, is a specialized "Pet Hospital Near Me" focusing on dermatological conditions in pets. While one review suggests positive experiences potentially linked to "MU Veterinary Hospital," another detailed review raises significant concerns about administrative errors, medication delivery, customer service, and the handling of negative feedback. Local pet owners seeking specialized dermatological care should consider these points and potentially contact the center directly to discuss their pet's specific needs and their approach to patient care and customer service.

Our sweet Lion is in good hands every time we go to MU Veterinary Hospital
Jan 25, 2025 · Kecia CortrechtIt was expressed to me that it was crucial that the medication my pet required be refrigerated when in route to me from the clinic. Although my personal information was forwarded to the clinic via email they failed to record an accurate home address over the phone. For this reason the $900 prescription I purchased took an extra 36 hours to reach me ( in the month of July) and the medicine was ineffective. Staff refused to take responsibility for their own error. I'd like to add that Missouri Veterinary Dermatology Center initially responded to my review of their poor service by adding my email to their spam.
Feb 18, 2025 · Adam JornsGreat people and Drs. Helping me with my Cat Lambeau’s allergies. For starters found out he is allergic to my dog. 🤦🏼♀️ He’s been even more clingy since going. Lol
Dec 12, 2023 · J RodExcellent care! I’ve been taking my dog here for years. They always take super good care of my dog. There was even one time we got locked out of our car and they graciously watched my dog for a few hours while I was figuring that out.
