Long time customer of Mira Loma Animal Hospital. But no more. Called to get an idea of the pricing for neuter for a kitten we are considering. Was told they could not provide pricing over the phone and that I would need to come in for an appointment ($58). When pressed as to why we couldn't get an idea of cost, she changed her answer to she could give me a range. For first round shots and neuter she said it would be around $800!!! Now I'm searching for another animal hospital to call home.

Mira Loma Animal Hospital Introduce
Welcome to the introduction of Mira Loma Animal Hospital, located at 5850 Etiwanda Ave STE 102, Mira Loma, CA 91752, USA. As a local Pet Hospital, Mira Loma Animal Hospital aims to provide veterinary care for pets in the Mira Loma area. This introduction will attempt to detail the environment, services, and features based on the available customer reviews, offering an objective perspective for local users. It's important to note that the reviews present contrasting experiences, which should be considered.
Mira Loma Animal Hospital is situated in a suite on Etiwanda Avenue, making it accessible to residents of Mira Loma. You can contact them by phone at (951) 681-6631 or via their mobile number, +1 951-681-6631. Information about the clinic's physical environment is not explicitly detailed in the reviews. However, one can infer a standard veterinary hospital setting with examination rooms and potentially other areas necessary for diagnostics and treatments. The fact that they could accommodate a same-day "end of life service" suggests they have facilities to handle urgent needs.
The services offered at Mira Loma Animal Hospital appear to include routine care, surgical procedures (neuter mentioned), and end-of-life services (euthanasia). One reviewer inquired about the cost of neutering a kitten and first-round shots, receiving an estimated range. Another detailed their experience with end-of-life care for their dog, indicating that the hospital provides euthanasia services and allows owners to spend time with their pets beforehand. They also mentioned the ability to get a same-day appointment for this critical service, highlighting responsiveness in urgent situations. It's plausible that they offer other general veterinary services such as vaccinations, check-ups, and treatment for illnesses, although these are not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews.
Several features of Mira Loma Animal Hospital can be gleaned from the customer experiences. One positive aspect mentioned is the caring nature of the doctor, who was "Extremely caring" during a difficult time. The staff is also described as "very nice and respectful." The willingness to accommodate a same-day appointment for euthanasia is another notable feature, indicating a degree of flexibility and empathy in handling sensitive situations. However, a significant issue raised is the lack of transparency and potential miscommunication regarding pricing, particularly over the phone. One customer was quoted a price for an exam that did not include the cost of the euthanasia service itself, leading to an unexpected higher charge. Another experienced difficulty in obtaining even a range for a neuter and initial vaccinations over the phone without first scheduling a paid appointment.
Regarding promotional information, none is explicitly provided in the reviews. The experiences shared are more about service quality and pricing transparency rather than any advertised promotions or discounts.
In conclusion, Mira Loma Animal Hospital in Mira Loma, CA, offers veterinary services that include routine care (like neutering and vaccinations) and compassionate end-of-life care. The staff and doctors are described as caring and respectful, and they can accommodate same-day urgent needs like euthanasia. However, potential drawbacks highlighted by customer reviews include a lack of price transparency over the phone and potential miscommunication regarding the total cost of services. One prospective customer was asked to book a paid appointment just to get an idea of neutering costs, while another was surprised by the additional cost of euthanasia beyond the initial exam fee quoted. These issues with pricing communication are important for local users to be aware of.
For local pet owners in Mira Loma seeking a Pet Hospital, Mira Loma Animal Hospital offers veterinary services with a reportedly caring doctor and staff. However, it would be prudent to clarify all potential costs upfront, especially when inquiring over the phone, to avoid any unexpected charges. If you value a caring approach during difficult times like end-of-life care, this might be a consideration, but ensure clear communication about all fees involved.
If you are considering Mira Loma Animal Hospital for your pet's care, you may want to call them at (951) 681-6631 to inquire about their services and pricing policies in detail, based on the experiences shared by other pet owners.

Aug 22, 2024 · Christina BrandstetterThe staff was very nice and respectful, the Dr.was Extremely caring i took my dog in for end of life Service , Dr, Let me Spent as much as time as i need with my dog before they put her down. They were able to get me in same day service. As this was my first time taking my pet in with them. Dr. assured me my dog was ready to be put down as her kidneys were Shuting down. She had kidney failure . The only Problem Was some miscommunication When I called to ask for the price They had quoted me forty five dollars. Come to find out that was just for the exam , Not for the end of life service Which was $155. So i had to pay $195 When I was just expecting to pay the forty five dollars To have her euthanized. But I was already there and She was already in a lot of pain being up for 24 hours stright from vomiting , diarrhea, and she was Severe dehydrated she could not walk very weak antlethargic. I just needed to put her down so I just paid. I wish they would have been more Honest so i won't be Caught so offguard because they asked if I wanted to Keep her ashes, and that cost was $350. Because I know when I call to make the Appointment I ask the price! But overall, everything else was great, except for the receptionist who didn't give me the correct price.
Jun 11, 2024 · Misty VargasVery kind staff. They were the only vet in Riverside and nearby areas that could get me in the next day without an emergency appointment. The veterinarian took the time to explain the issues in detail so that I could make an informed decision. Definitely adding them to my list of go-to vets in a pinch. As far as pricing goes, since I was able to get an appointment, the costs were very low. But even if I had come in as an emergency, it didn't sound like the costs would have been unreasonable. Only $40 for a next day exam isn't bad at all. They were also able to work with me on other costs, since the animal I brought in was a rescue.
Aug 06, 2022 · ZapporahThey took her in right away my cat they couldn’t save her. They were gentle kind, caring doctors and nurses. I put her down cremated her and it cost $110 and the doctor was sympathy with you.
