I have always had wonderful service and care at this hospital over the years. Most recently it has involved my fifteen year old cat, Shadow - recently diagnosed with kidney disease. I've had her since she was just 7-8 weeks old and this is all an extremely important issue for me, so I've truly appreciated how they have always been so quick to answer questions, setup appointments, and confirm prescriptions when I'm ordering foods/meds for the first time somewhere. When there is so much else to think and worry about when a pet is sick, it's been very nice to know the hospital they're being seen by are so reliable and willing to communicate. Shadow's care has been handled excellently by Dr. Freed and Kayla, and everyone else that I've interacted with have always been nice and friendly as well. Dr. Freed and Kayla are always great with my numerous questions and concerns, and I was also shown how to give IV fluids to Shadow there. That was a concept that seemed quite sad and scary to me at the onset of it, but the demonstration was well done and things have been smooth since then. It's saving/extending her life, so I am very glad it was suggested by Dr. Freed and we got Shadow started on them right away. I am just very grateful and thankful for the competence and friendliness I've experienced here, and the time spent on Shadow's care both in-office and on the phone when having exams or test result conversations. I am still cherishing all of these "extra" days I have with my sweet girl and hope to be able to continue taking her to this hospital for years to come. Thank you from myself and Shadow!

Mar 03, 2025 · Rob JWe just love our new Vet Office. We really did not care for our last vet office and after moving was recommended to come here. We are so glad that we did. We felt so valued and welcomed when we arrived in the office. We knew that our dog needed to have a mass removed from her back. They scheduled us for this procedure, and did a dental at the same time, I was AMAZED at the price, so affordable! This office certainly knows all about customer service. Thank you for welcoming us as new clients!
Feb 16, 2025 · Sue BakerI switched vets about a year ago and I'm glad I did. My doberman had a mass cell tumor on his back. The professionals at Minnesota Veterinary Hospital were quick to assess the situation and get him in for surgery within a few weeks. I'm very thankful for the entire team. They helped me out tremendously. The care, cost and quality of people here will keep us coming back. I'm proud to say Hank is doing well and fully recovered 💪
Jul 17, 2024 · Show TimeI've been taking my dogs to MN Veterinary Hospital for a number of years. They have been great with both my outgoing dog as well as more timid pup. I do not feel pressured into additional services, and they made my sick dog's euthanasia experience smooth and calm. I can only express my gratitude for their dedication to our furry family members.
Feb 08, 2024 · Grace VasilisTook my mixed basset in for glaucoma explaining that her ow ner was very short of money. They charged me. $300 a month for pain meds. I took her to another vet. We took her of the pain meds and she had no pain. There were also 2 surgeries a fraction of the cost of the pain meds that the U of .M failed to tell me about.
