Midway Animal Hospital

I’ve had great experiences with Midway until recently. I booked a routine exam and they informed me my dogs rabies vaccine was due. I had no idea so of course I want to get that updated. Before the appointment I asked for a ballpark of what the appointment would cost, simply so I would know how much money to bring. We don’t go to the vet often so I forget what it runs. Everything was fine until our appointment. I’m not sure if it was new staff or what was going on but I felt immediate coldness from the vet and tech. The exam and vaccine were done and before I leave they ask me to confirm that I’m opting out of the other vaccines she needs. I said I was unaware she was due for others. If I knew I would have agreed to do them. No one told me. They said that because I asked for an estimate when I made the appointment they didn’t bother to tell me she was due for others vaccines (assuming I couldn’t afford it?). I only asked so I knew what money to bring with me. It was very bizarre and odd, I love this clinic and they have helped me and my dog through scary emergencies before and I’ve raved about them to friends and family. I was completely shocked by this attitude. I’ll obviously be back because my dog has received good care in the past but I’ll be sure to not ask about costs whatsoever when booking. It was night and day what I was used to.

It came time to put my sweet dog ollie down and the staff at midway were so caring and compassionate. Thank you for your gentle kindness from the first phone call until the very end. Ollie had such a peaceful passing with their help. Thank you

These people are amazing! They are sweet, caring, attentive, and explain everything thoroughly from directions Of medication to physically showing me what I need to do for my pet while at home. I had An emergency and was able to get my pet in within the hour. I explained to them my budget because I was not Prepared for this emergency and they worked with me and did what they could within my budget while still making sure my pet had optimal care! I can’t thank them enough for taking care of my pet.

We had to take our dog in for treatment. Dr. Becket and the entire staff were very friendly, thorough, and compassionate. Every time we called, they got us in right away. Unfortunately, we had to put our baby down. The doctor and staff were terrific and made it as easy as they could for us. I would highly recommend Midway for any fur pet.

Tho place is wonderful! They are caring and compassionate. They saved my kittens life. He swallowed a foreign object. We were advised from the surgeon and everyone else in there was more risks of leaving the object in and waiting to see if he would pass it himself. We would advised in his case surgery was best. That it had less risks. That helped us make the best decision for our little man. It was confirmed when the surgery was over. That he would not have survived it we waited even a day. I love this place and I am so glad we took him here. We couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. I thank you Dr . Pratt and your team from the bottom of my heart
