Dr. Kornet and the staff at Mid Island have always been wonderful to me and my dog since the very first vet visit when he was 7 weeks old. It is truly evident how much they care and go the extra mile for their patients. My dog is now two years old and recently presented with the possibility of fractured upper fourth premolars. Dr. Kornet examined the teeth very carefully and had X-rays done to confirm their vitality. He noted how traumatic of a procedure it would be to have them removed, especially for a young dog, and further consulted with not one but multiple dental specialists before confirming the teeth were healthy and didn't need to be extracted. He kept me updated throughout the entire process and was very thorough in answering all of my questions. The staff was so kind and patient while caring for anxious pup as well; I always know he is in good hands with them. I cannot thank everyone enough for the amazing quality of care and service they always provide.

Dr. Wu is awesome and you can tell she loves animals and my dog Ace loves to go and see her! The staff is so friendly and helpful. They have very affordable pricing for the work they do. They truly love your pet, they are not there just to make money like some places we've been to.

I have nothing but good things to say about Mid island Animal hospital but specifically Dr. Kornet! I have been talking my dog there for the last 6 years. I recently had the most wonderful experience. On Saturday I called the after hour emergency number and instantly was able to speak to Dr. Kornet. I called him numerous times throughout the night. He was just as concerned as I was for my dog. He offered to come in on a SUNDAY to operate on my dog! He performed an emergent surgery and kept me up to do date with her progress. When I went to visit my dog on Monday, Dr. Kornet came in to further explain everything to me in great detail. We spoke on the phone later that day with a very pleasant update. On Tuesday he called me, thrilled to inform me that my dog was ready to be discharged. When I I wen to pick her up he, again in much detail, explained her home care and etc. I thank Dr. Kornet and his staff for going in on a Sunday to operate and taking such good care of my dog during her stay.
