We are new to the area, moved here from PA in December. Upon moving our German shepherd started having some severe medical issues with her tail, needing it to be amputated. Then had post op issues needing another surgery. So We have been to the vet 3x WEEKLY within the past month. So this recommendation is coming from someone who has literally been to the vet 15+ times? in the last 5 weeks. Dr Hoernig is above and beyond. I trust him whole heartedly and NEVER makes me feel rushed which I have felt many times at other vets. I love everyone in this office (as they now know us by name/face lol) Katie is amazing at the front desk, I hope that’s her name. I will be very sad when we move again (military). But I cannot recommend this place enough. You’d think we’d be broke after all of this, but somehow we aren’t, they are so affordable and make it possible for me to get my dog all the help and treatment she needs. Love love love this place. They’ve become like family to me and my girl.

Mexico Road Animal Hospital Introduce

Welcome to an in-depth introduction to Mexico Road Animal Hospital, a veterinary care provider located at 1190 Sonderen St, O'Fallon, MO 63366, USA, now being presented to our local users in Singapore. While a direct physical visit to their clinic in the United States is not a feasible option for residents of Singapore, understanding the experiences of their existing clientele can offer valuable insights into the quality of care, services, and overall approach of this Pet Hospital. Choosing the right veterinary care for your beloved companions is a significant decision, and this overview, based on publicly available customer reviews, aims to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of what makes Mexico Road Animal Hospital noteworthy, potentially for those seeking telemedicine advice, reliable pet health information, or considering future service expansions that might cater to an international audience.

Although we cannot provide a firsthand account of the physical environment of Mexico Road Animal Hospital for our Singaporean users, the detailed review from a recent client who visited the clinic extensively offers some valuable perspectives. This client, who visited the vet "3x WEEKLY within the past month" due to their German Shepherd's severe medical issues, described a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. They specifically mentioned feeling that the staff "now know us by name/face lol," indicating a personal touch and a sense of familiarity that can be comforting during stressful times. This suggests an environment where staff are attentive and build relationships with their clients and their pets. While another review raised a concern about the front desk customer service on a few occasions, the overall impression from the first reviewer points towards a clinic where many members of the team create a positive and supportive experience.

Based on the information available in the customer reviews, Mexico Road Animal Hospital appears to offer a range of essential veterinary services. The first review highlights their capability in handling significant surgical needs, including a tail amputation and subsequent post-operative care. This suggests expertise in surgical procedures and the management of complex medical conditions. The fact that the client felt their dog received all the necessary help and treatment indicates a commitment to providing comprehensive medical care. While a complete list of their services isn't explicitly provided in the reviews, we can infer that they likely offer:

  • Surgical Services: As mentioned, they handle surgical procedures, including potentially complex cases. This is a critical aspect of a full-service animal hospital.
  • Post-operative Care: The need for a second surgery and the frequent follow-up visits indicate that they provide ongoing care and management after surgical procedures.
  • General Medical Care: The diagnosis and treatment of the German Shepherd's tail issues fall under general medical care, suggesting they address a variety of health concerns.
  • Affordable Treatment Options: A significant point raised in the first review is the affordability of their services, stating, "somehow we aren’t ... they are so affordable and make it possible for me to get my dog all the help and treatment she needs." This suggests a commitment to making quality veterinary care accessible.
  • Emergency or Urgent Care: The fact that the client was seen frequently for post-operative issues implies they can accommodate urgent needs and provide timely care.

One of the most prominent features of Mexico Road Animal Hospital, as lauded by a long-term client, is the exceptional care provided by Dr. Hoernig. This client stated that Dr. Hoernig is "above and beyond," expressing wholehearted trust in his expertise. A particularly appreciated aspect is that Dr. Hoernig "NEVER makes me feel rushed," a sentiment that stands in contrast to experiences at other veterinary clinics. This highlights a patient-centric approach where thoroughness and addressing all of the owner's concerns are prioritized. The feeling of being heard and understood by the veterinarian can significantly enhance the client's confidence and comfort level.

Another significant feature, as mentioned by the first reviewer, is the overall friendly and supportive nature of the staff. They specifically praised "everyone in this office" and mentioned Katie at the front desk as being "amazing." This suggests a team-oriented approach where many staff members contribute to a positive client experience, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. The personal connection, with staff knowing clients and their pets by name and face, further emphasizes this feature.

However, it is important to present a balanced perspective, as one reviewer did express concerns about the customer service provided by one specific front desk staff member on multiple occasions. This feedback, while isolated to one individual, is a point to consider as it highlights a potential area for improvement in the overall client experience. The reviewer did emphasize that "the doctors and the rest of the staff are great," indicating that the issue might not be systemic but rather related to a specific interaction.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for local users in Singapore. However, the strong positive testimonial regarding the affordability of their services is a significant point for anyone considering veterinary care. The fact that a client with a pet requiring extensive and frequent treatment found their services affordable suggests a commitment to providing value-based care. For pet owners in Singapore exploring options, this aspect could be particularly appealing.

In conclusion, Mexico Road Animal Hospital, while based in the USA, appears to be a veterinary practice that prides itself on the exceptional care provided by Dr. Hoernig, the friendly and supportive nature of most of its staff, and the affordability of its services. The positive experiences shared by a client who required extensive and frequent care highlight their capabilities in handling significant medical issues and their commitment to making quality care accessible. While one review noted a concern regarding the customer service of a specific front desk staff member, the overwhelming sentiment points towards a clinic where clients feel valued and their pets receive excellent medical attention. For pet owners in Singapore seeking insights into a veterinary practice known for its skilled and caring professionals and its affordability, the experiences of Mexico Road Animal Hospital's clients offer valuable perspectives.

Dr. Hoernig is amazing . Their services are also affordable, which is a huge plus. My only concern is the customer service also , Stacy at the front desk On three occasions, I’ve encountered her she came across as unfriendly and acts like she don’t even want to be there Also While I understand everyone can have a bad day, her demeanor was consistently crap. which can take away from the visit. That being said, the doctors and the rest of the staff are great. But Stacy needs to go.
