Metro East Vet Clinic is the absolute best! They see both of our English Bulldogs and cat and are great with all 3! Our oldest Bulldog has had some issues arise within the last year due to being an older guy and they are always so responsive and compassionate with our concerns. Getting all medicines, labs and questions answered is an absolute breeze! The clinics entire team is very knowledgeable and compassionate with our pets.

I cannot recommend them enough. They were prompt with communication via email, answered all my questions and provided resources to help us navigate the process. Nicole was very professional, very caring and very understanding of our feelings, she told us everything she was doing before doing it. She made putting our sweet boy down more peaceful.

It's has taken over seven months to recover enough from losing our sweet Oscar to be able to write this. Our best solace and only bright spot from that sad day was that Oscar was helped along by the kind and gentle Ms. Nichole from Metro East Home Vet Care. He had been battling a terminal illness and when his last day came, we wanted him to pass in comfort and without fear, at home. Nichole was kind, gentle and made sure we were all ready. She made Oscar as comfortable as he could be as we all said goodbye. I can't begin to express the depth of our gratitude for the supportive and compassionate way she took care of Oscar and us both during that day and afterward when they followed up to make sure we were OK. Please, if you have to make that sad decision to send your loving pet over the rainbow bridge, make MetroEast the people you reach out to for help and support. That is the best kindness you can give your companion and we are forever grateful we made the call on that day.

It’s only 24hrs after our devastating loss & I could not wait another minute to write this review. Because if ONE person is having hesitation or nervousness about choosing if this is the right company to help accompany them during this horrific time, I need you to please stay and read this. I had read, years ago, about at home pet euthanasia services, & unfortunately needed it quickly myself. I called around so many places and the only place that would service my rural area was Metro East Home Vet Care. When the day came, and I heard the knock at my door, I hesitantly answered it. In front of me was standing one of the most physically and spiritually beautiful humans that I have ever seen….. it was Ms. Nichole. I knew in an instant that this is who the universe intentionally sent to walk us through this nightmare. Let’s be honest, this service provides stellar veterinary care, but it’s TRUE mission….. is human care. This is a service that walks HUMANS through one of the most devastating times in our lives. Without ever meeting us before, I knew she felt the unwavering love, loyalty & reverence we felt for our beautiful boy. Ms. Nicole essentially held our hand, and step-by-step with the most patience, empathy, love, kindness, and grace… walked us through an ACTUAL living nightmare. And we made it out the other side. And so did our precious boy. His spirit made it to the other side while laying next to me, with his head in his father‘s arms, and us loving all over him. He was not stressed or anxious in the slightest. I could not have dreamed of a more beautiful way to say goodbye to our sweet Bowser. And Ms. Nichole helped facilitate every aspect of this. I will ONLY utilize the services of Metro East Home Vet Care during this heartbreaking time, for the other five of my animals when that time may come. Ms. Nichole is the physical manifestation of an angel. It was meant to be that the universe sent her to us for this. She left an impact on me and my husband that is hard to even quantify with words. There is a lot to stress about when your time is coming to an end with a beloved pet family member … but choosing Metro East Home Vet Care is NOT ONE OF THEM! I promise ♥️. I love Dr. Karen Louis and her practice. My fiancé's dog, Louie, was gravely ill six or seven years ago and the vet they had at the time wouldn't answer his phone when he had promised to be on call. In looking at the local vets that were around, they came across Dr. Karen Louis. Not only did she make a house call for a family and pet she had never met/treated, but she sat with him, pet him and talked to him all while sitting next to him on the floor. After I heard this I decided to give her a try. She's been my pets Veterinarian now for 5 years. When it was time for my Scottie, Gimli, to cross the rainbow bridge, she made it so he was able to pass peacefully at home. Although Dr. Louis was not the one to come to our house that day, the vet tech that did come was amazing. She not only comforted us, but comforted my little Scottie as well and that meant the world to me. Dr. Louis knows what it means to truly be there for your pets and to love them unconditionally. She also knows what it means to staff your practice with the kind of people that value your pets health just as much as you do. She now takes care of our two girls, Pepper and Mary, and I trust her implicitly with their health and care. She sits and talks with you on visits, makes sure to take in every word you say and that you're clear on every aspect of the visit. Even when she's busy, and she has become very busy, she still knows and understands the value of listening to her patients and caring for each pet as if it were her own.
