Metro Pet Vet Leola

I’ve been using Metro Pet Vet(both Leola and Manheim locations) for over three years. Due to my cat’s abnormal lab results, we’ve been taking her there at least 3-4 times a year to monitor her closely. The Veterinary Assistants and Client Service Representative are always friendly and kind, and I love that I get to hear different opinions on my pet’s condition, allowing me to make more informed decisions for her care. Dr. Kathy and Dr. Steed are both highly competent and experienced, taking a conservative approach to treatment. Dr. Sanjay genuinely cares and treats my cat as if she were his own—he even successfully spayed her without complications, despite her low immune system. Dr. Bossert and Dr. Savage, though younger, are both eager to dig deeper to uncover the root causes of her issues. I especially want to thank Dr. Savage for following up on my cat’s condition. People often look for the most affordable option for their pets, but if you truly care about getting proper treatment from knowledgeable and compassionate professionals, I highly recommend Metro Pet Vet.

This is the best vet practice! All of the doctors that I have seen, are thorough and explain things well. The staff is always friendly and understanding, especially with my one hyper and strong minded boy! Every time there has been an acute issue and my dogs needed a sick visit, i am always able to get them seen in a reasonable amount of time. The only time I had a small issue, the management went above and beyond to correct things quickly. I have been trusting the care of my two dogs at this office for about 6 years, and drive 40 minutes to take them!

I love everyone here - they always seem happy to see our pets and take good care of all of us. Dr Kathy does a great job of explaining everything she finds and has been wonderful to work with for many years.

We were temporarily staying with family when my cat developed an issue with his eye. I called Metro Pet Leola since they were so close by. Everyone was so nice and they were wonderful with Shadow even though he's a somewhat grumpy patient. So grateful that they were willing to see him so quickly even though he isn't a regular patient. If we lived closer we wouldn't hesitate to make you our regular vet. Wonderful team! Thank you!!

It's been a few years since our dogs died, and the time has come for a new pup. Our old vet retired so we heard good things from two friends about Leola Vetinerary Hospital and decided to go with them. Upon entry, the Leola location is clean, simple and immaculate - just as a vet should be. So clean that one could eat off the floors! But I don't recommend that. The gal at the counter already knew who we were even though it was our first visit - she couldn't wait to see our new puppy. We felt very welcomed. The technician was patient, thorough, knowledgeable and super friendly - we didn't feel rushed as is sometimes the case. She answered our many questions completely and patiently. The Veterinarian was the same - thorough and patient, and took the time to ensure all questions were fully answered. Felt very at home and welcome, and very assured by the combined technical knowledge. I'm sure anyone who tries them out will experience the same.
