Dr Miller, Nikki and the whole team at Merritt Animal Clinic are the best , they show so much care, compassion and loving to both pets and pet owners . We sadly had to say goodbye this last week to our beautiful Molly dog , we enjoyed 13+ very happy years with her and Dr Miller and his team have been her care team all her life from 8 weeks old when she came into our lives to her final breath on Friday , they made that awful time a little easier with friendship , assurance and compassion and she just passed away peaceful with all the people she loved around her . I’ve taken three cats to Merritt Animal Clinic, one severely ill, one just needing shots and a neuter, and one just a little sick from what turned out to be seasonal allergies. Every time, in each case, I have been so pleased with the level of care shown to my cats. From the sickest to the standard, I felt each one received the same degree of attention as my sickest kitten. It is so appreciated to be taken seriously even when my request read “my cats eye looks goopy” or “please get the balls off this boy.” The whole staff seems to really love animals so it’s always welcoming to go in there.

I am so grateful for Dr. Miller and his compassionate staff! They have been caring for our beloved dogs for more than 5 years now. I am impressed by the sensitive and thorough care offered. Each time we visit, our animals are given the best of care and I am educated as to how to be a better pet owner. Dr. Miller and his staff patiently explain treatment options and allow me to be a part of the decision making process. Recently, I gave one of our dogs the wrong medicine and immediately called their office. I was treated with such care. Even though it was late afternoon on the day before a holiday weekend, Esther conferred with the doctor and called the manufacturer instead of suggesting that I call them. She followed up with me, helping me know what to expect and what treatment options were available during the holiday weekend if we needed them. I even received a follow up call. Merritt Animal Clinic is the place for you to bring your pets if you want intelligent, compassionate care for you and your animals.

I have taken all of my pet kids to Merritt Animal Clinic for years. When Dr. Miller bought the practice, and my boys had their first appointments with him, I really watched for the reaction they showed. They both loved him! They already loved Esther, Nikki and the other friends they had there so we weren’t changing doctors! Dr. Miller had passed their inspection with flying colors.My boys have received excellent care, and caring from Dr. Miller and all the great staff. I haven’t boarded my boys in ages, but boarding service are provided also, insuring your pet's good health in your absence. Five thumbs up from my boys and their Mom..
