I rarely if ever leave a review. I don’t like my name out there. However- Dr Kayla and staff are more than deserving of a 5 star review. I called this morning to come in as a new patient. They got me right in. Dr Kayla and her assistant spent copious amounts of time with me and my canine. Very engaging, caring and adroit. My dog presents with a difficult unknown illness that many vets do not know about and frankly don’t want to learn about it. Dr Kayla is reaching out to the specialist I am working with in Michigan. Her thoughtfulness, thoroughness and kind caring manner is what sets her apart from her colleagues. I highly recommend this clinic. The facility is clean. Everything was easy. The staff is engaging and easy to work with.

Medina Veterinary Clinic Introduce

Introducing Medina Veterinary Clinic, a Pet Hospital situated at 730 W Smith Rd, Medina, OH 44256, USA. They can be contacted at phone number (330) 722-0041 or mobile phone +1 330-722-0041. This introduction is aimed at providing local users in Medina, Ohio, with an objective perspective on the clinic based on available customer reviews. While the primary focus is on local pet owners, individuals elsewhere, including in Singapore, can gain insight into the experiences of others with this veterinary practice.

Based on the customer reviews, the environment at Medina Veterinary Clinic appears to be generally clean and easy to navigate. One reviewer specifically mentioned, "The facility is clean. Everything was easy." This suggests a well-maintained and accessible physical space. However, one of the reviews also hints at potential emotional sensitivities in client interactions, though it doesn't directly describe the physical environment. Overall, the limited information points to a clean and organized setting typical of a professional pet hospital.

As a Pet Hospital, Medina Veterinary Clinic likely offers a range of services expected from such a facility. Based on the reviews, these include:

  • General consultations and examinations, including for new patients with complex or unknown illnesses.
  • Diagnostic support, as indicated by Dr. Kayla's willingness to consult with specialists.
  • Administration of fluids and potentially overnight care.
  • End-of-life care and support for grieving pet owners.
  • Nail trimming (implied, as it's a common service in vet clinics).

However, one review detailed concerns about the cost of certain treatments (fluids) and an instance where a paid-for item was initially not provided, indicating potential issues with billing transparency and attentiveness to service delivery. The same review also mentioned a feeling of being "forgotten" on the day a pet was to be euthanized, suggesting possible lapses in communication or emotional support during sensitive times.

The features of Medina Veterinary Clinic highlighted in the reviews include:

  • Caring and thorough staff: Dr. Kayla and her assistant are described as "very engaging, caring and adroit," and Dr. Kayla is commended for her thoughtfulness and thoroughness, especially in handling a difficult unknown illness.
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate: Dr. Kayla's outreach to a specialist in Michigan demonstrates a commitment to providing the best possible care, even for unusual conditions.
  • Clean and easy facility: The clinic is noted for its cleanliness and ease of navigation.
  • Positive regard for at least one veterinarian: Dr. Toni is mentioned as "great" in one of the reviews.

However, potential drawbacks mentioned include concerns about perceived emotional manipulation related to costs, issues with billing accuracy, and a feeling of being overlooked during a pet's final moments.

No specific promotional information is available in the provided reviews. Local users would need to contact the clinic directly to inquire about any current promotions or special offers for new patients.

The reviews for Medina Veterinary Clinic present a somewhat mixed picture. On one hand, there is high praise for Dr. Kayla and the staff's caring and thorough approach, particularly in handling complex medical cases. This suggests a clinic with dedicated professionals who are willing to go the extra mile for their patients. The cleanliness and ease of the facility are also positive aspects. On the other hand, there are serious concerns raised about transparency in billing, the cost of certain treatments, and the handling of emotionally sensitive situations, which potential clients should be aware of.

For local users in Medina, OH, considering Medina Veterinary Clinic, it would be wise to weigh the positive feedback regarding the caring and knowledgeable staff against the concerns raised about billing and communication in emotionally charged situations. If you are seeking a vet who is willing to delve into complex medical issues and collaborate with specialists, Dr. Kayla seems to embody these qualities. However, it might be prudent to ensure clarity on treatment costs and to communicate openly about your emotional needs, especially during difficult times.

In conclusion, Medina Veterinary Clinic in Medina, OH, operates as a Pet Hospital that has received both high praise for its caring and thorough medical professionals like Dr. Kayla, and criticism regarding aspects of billing and communication during sensitive times. The facility is described as clean and easy to use. Potential local clients should consider these varied experiences when making their decision and may wish to seek clarification on the clinic's policies regarding billing and emotional support. To learn more or to schedule an appointment, you can contact them at (330) 722-0041.

My husband & I have different feelings.. while I mostly liked them, I also don't like how I felt they used my emotional status as a way to get more money out of me. Charging $58 for a bag of fluids then $250 to leave my dog for the day for 200mL but only giving her 100mL so they gave me the extra bag that I paid for that they didn't give, which I had to point out when picking her up. Now she's gone, and they won't take the fluids back & return the $58.. that had I not paid attention, I'd have paid for but never gotten! Dr. Toni is great though.. I just don't like the fact that we were 'forgotten' about the day she was going to cross over.

Jake and Malory are so helpful. I have had a receptionist here that was totally rude (she didn’t give me her name) but Jake and Malory are basically the only ones that I get who are always friendly and helpful. There are other good ones too but these two I get the most often. My husband has talked to Anna and said she was very helpful as well. The actual Vet and vet techs are friendly and gentle with my animals. They are good with my cat who is a demon at the vet. Only bad experiences I have had were with phone calls to one of the receptionists who hung up on me and laughed at me when I asked questions about my dog’s medication. I wish I knew what her name was.

My cats and dog love them. And they they love my pets. Even the scary one. Spyro the Dragon, Peaches, and Willow (the mean one who poops on the floor).
