Martinez Animal Hospital

We recently took our beloved cockatoo, Taki, to Dr. Robillard for an examination. She was so personable and adept at her job! It made us very comfortable and confident in her care now & in the future! Taki liked her too! Our bird is fairly young, so, Dr. Robillard, we need you to stay for the next fifty years! OK! 😉

Yesterday was my first time visiting this vet. There are not many places that see exotic pets in this location and I really needed a second opinion. I don't wanna say any names, but my other vet wasn't of any help and didn't seem confident in their work. Glad I came across Martinez Vet. Allison, the veterinarian was wonderful! She really cares about our babies and makes sure we leave taken care of. I was really sad and depressed before I spoke with her, but she gave me hope that my boy will be ok. She asked if I had any questions and answered every last one without having to look it up. She even followed up after closing time in regards to some medicine that we discussed. Just overnight my boy has shown improvement. It puts a smile on my face seeing him being able to walk again and getting stronger. I cannot thank her enough. Would definitely recommend this place if you have an exotic pet and you see Allison.

Please stay away from this vet. My cat came back from his neuter with fleas and they didn't send him home with a cone. Most recently, the vet techs refused to put a bandage on his two day old injury that frequently touches litter. I was told by Blue Pearl to keep a bandage on for at least a week but on day two, Martinez Animal Hospital refused to replace his bandage. I am removing my cat from their care.

I am so very happy I found Martinez Animal Hospital for my little Jasmine. I just moved here from out of state and my little one quit eating, which is very scary for a 16 year old. The vet, Elizabeth Sowell seen her right away at a reasonable cost. It ended up she got bit by an insect, probably a spider. Not only did we get a new home but a wonderful Vet to care for my little companion. Thank you!!!!

The vet was great and was very engaged in what I was saying. I recently moved her right as my dog was diagnosed with glaucoma and I needed to get her medications and references to a specialist. They got me in within a couple of days and got me everything I needed. The only reason for the 4 stars is for the long wait. I didn’t get into a room until 45 minutes after my appointment was scheduled. They were busy but it could have been scheduled a little better. Will edit my review based on my next visit
