I just picked my beautiful Siberian forest cat up from being neutered. They gave him a hideous green tattoo in his ear marking that he’s been fixed. This was not discussed beforehand and would never have agreed to it in his ear being that it’s horrible and extremely noticeable, he is purebred and I did not pay what I payed to have him marked without my consent. On the paperwork I received when it was done I saw there was the option to do the abdomen but was never given that option up front. They made the decision without me. I’m so upset over this … every time I look at him now I just see a huge ugly green mark on his beautiful face.

MARS Veterinary Services appears to offer a range of veterinary care, including routine procedures like neutering and specialized care such as allergy management. The environment is likely a standard veterinary clinic setting.
Services and Features:
- Neutering Services: The hospital performs neutering procedures for pets.
- Allergy Management: They offer diagnosis and treatment plans for pets suffering from allergies, with a focus on understanding the individual needs of the animal.
- Personalized Care: One customer highlights the clinic's effort to understand their dog's specific needs and develop a tailored treatment plan for severe allergies.
- Dedicated Staff: Dr. Ash and her staff are commended for taking the time to understand pet concerns and working towards improving the pet's quality of life.
Promotional Information (Based on Reviews):
While no specific promotions are mentioned, one customer's positive experience with their dog's allergy treatment suggests a potential area of expertise and successful outcomes for pets with similar issues. They express strong recommendation for the clinic due to the progress made in managing their dog's long-standing allergies.
However, it is important to note a significant negative experience shared by another customer regarding a neutering procedure. This customer was upset about their purebred Siberian forest cat receiving a "hideous green tattoo" in his ear as a mark of being fixed, as this was not discussed or consented to beforehand. They also mentioned that an alternative marking location (abdomen) was listed on the paperwork but was not presented as an option. This feedback indicates a potential lack of communication regarding certain procedures and a decision made without the owner's explicit consent.
If you are looking for a Pet Hospital that offers services like allergy management and neutering, MARS Veterinary Services has received positive feedback regarding their approach to complex health issues like allergies. However, it is advisable to have thorough discussions and ensure clear communication with the clinic regarding all procedures and options available for your pet to avoid any unexpected outcomes.

Aug 31, 2023 · Angi LewellynI have a chihuahua mix who isn’t always the easiest to care for, but every time I take him to the MARS clinic they go over and beyond to ensure we have the best visit possible. Specifically, my dog suffers from pretty severe allergies; previous vets have pushed expensive pills at us that didn’t alleviate any of his symptoms nor did it really make anything better. When I expressed my concerns to Dr. Ash and her staff, they took the time to get to know my dog and came up with a game plan to give him a better quality of life. We are slowly but surely making progress which is HUGE because we’ve been pretty stagnant with this issue for the past 3 years. I cannot recommend them enough!!
Sep 07, 2023 · Sean JohnsonI will never go back to this company! The adoption was great until I took my dog home. She got tested on the day I picked her up. But they tested improperly which led to a negative worm test. That was wrong. She had heart worm hook worm and whip worm. They didn't have vets on staff. They wouldn't answer their phones. They were very unhelpful. So I took her to my vet. And they wouldn't help pay for Anything! On the last visit they finally said sure I'll give your vet some medicine and they will comp a little off your bill. That was it! Thousands of dollars later! That's it. Then I thought okay their receptionist was bad but their vet must be okay. So I took her back for her free spay appointment. I just last night took her to an emergency vet visit at 2am because she got closed up improperly and started to get infected. She is okay for now. But they are not organized. Some try hard but that does not make a good company. They need to hire more staff and more experienced vets to supervises! Animals will get hurt if they don't!
Jan 30, 2022 · Angela MarkusonI've brought my dog here as well as a foster dog that I was fostering for MARS. Their vets and vet techs are super nice. They all seem to genuinely love animals and enjoy working together. I believe they are non-profit because they are connected to the rescue. This amounts to lower, more reasonable costs for care. This is also why I am super flexible with them if there are times that I have to wait for care. They try to see as many animals as they can. They are doing wonderful work, giving care to animals who are rescues and for those that need lower costs for vet care.
Jan 27, 2020 · Kayla StonehouseI’ve taken my dog here since he was a puppy and they always do an excellent job! The prices are reasonable and all the staff are so kind and helpful. My dog got surgery here within the past year and I was really happy with how smooth it went and how well it healed. This is definitely the only vet I’ll be taking my dog to.
