March Animal Hospital

I changed to March Animal Hospital due to the high cost of my previous vet. I found the people here to be compassionate, good humored, and great at their jobs! They did a wonderful job of assessing my dog’s vet records and getting her what she needed, as well as making her as comfortable as possible during the whole visit. I would 10/10 recommend this practice to anyone. 🐶

I have been going to March Animal Hospital for over 30 years. After the practice was sold by Dr. Mindy March, the vet has drastically gone downhill. This past Friday, my husband and I had to put down our 13-year-old lab. We had the worst experience we could possibly imagine. It took over 3 hours to find his vein because he had a low BP. The "temp vet" March hired then said the last resort was to give our dog laughing gas and "put a needle straight into his heart". They claim to be a fear free clinic, does this sound fear free? We are so upset and are wrecked with guilt that these were our old man's final moments. I spoke to the office manager, even though we asked to speak to the owner, but she was too busy to call us. When speaking with the office manager, she tried to give us every excuse in the book. She even had incorrect records of speaking to me in September of last year, which never occurred. When I asked what they would be doing to try and make this situation better, they decided a $93 refund for an exam fee (that they told my husband we were not charged for) was the appropriate response to this. They didn't dim the lights, they didn't light a candle, and a child was screaming across the hall. We go there at 9am and didn't leave until 3 hours later. They let us sit and cry on the floor of the vet's office, with no empathy. Your pets have no voice. We are there voice. And this is me being Luca's. Stay far away from this vet.

The entire staff at this office is outstanding. We have an incredibly anxious pup. Over the years grooming and vet care has gotten next to impossible to take care of. We recently had our 4th and biggest visit to date( dental work and a small procedure) they made everything so much easier on my dog and myself. They really are a true fear free practice. We’ve been going to March Animal Hospital for over 10 years with our Shih Tzu and consistently encounter positive experiences & exceptional care. All of the staff treat Benny like family, which is so reassuring during exams and treatments. Through their professional and respectful interactions and their compassionate and dedicated approach, we know they love our boy as much as we do and wouldn’t trust any other practice with his care.

We have multiple dogs in our household that we bring to March. Our pups are always treated well, especially our high anxiety ones. Huge shoutout to the nurses and front desk staff who are especially awesome! They get to know patients and their owners and are always willing to go the extra mile to help. Love this practice!
