This place made my dog inactive because they thought I might go to another hospital for his eye medication since they wouldn't give it to him but he never went anyway. Now I have a terminal Illness, they are right down the street and they won't see him for HIS illness and hung up on me. They are rude and do not care for your animal like they pretend to until you have an issue. They are fake and do not like being challenged. They do not remember their previous treatments and just want you to return and pay for a procedure you had done already. Do not trust this place. His cataracts are worse and his teeth need cleaning and they are awful.

Welcome to Manchester Animal Hospital

Manchester Animal Hospital, located at 1129 Hooksett Rd, Hooksett, NH 03106, USA, functions as a comprehensive "Pet Hospital" serving the local community and surrounding areas. This facility aims to provide veterinary care for various pet needs, from routine check-ups to more involved medical and surgical procedures. They can be reached by phone at (603) 623-7788 or via mobile at +1 603-623-7788, offering contact points for pet owners seeking their services.

The environment at Manchester Animal Hospital, like any veterinary facility, is designed to facilitate medical care. While specific details about the layout or decor are not explicitly provided, a pet hospital typically includes examination rooms, a waiting area, surgical suites, and diagnostic areas such as an in-house laboratory and potentially imaging facilities (X-ray, ultrasound). The atmosphere, based on varied client experiences, appears to be perceived differently by individuals. Some clients describe an environment where the staff are perceived as caring and supportive, particularly during emotional times such as pet loss, suggesting a compassionate and understanding setting. Other accounts, however, suggest a less positive experience regarding client interactions, which can impact the perceived warmth and welcoming nature of the environment.

Manchester Animal Hospital offers a range of veterinary services that are typically provided by a general pet hospital. While a comprehensive list of all services is not explicitly detailed in the provided information, based on the context of a "Pet Hospital" and the nature of client comments, their services would generally include:

  • General Wellness and Preventive Care: This would encompass routine examinations, vaccinations, parasite control, and general health assessments aimed at maintaining the overall well-being of pets.

  • Surgical Procedures: The facility would perform common surgical interventions. One review mentions a dog's eye medication and suggests potential dental cleaning needs, implying that routine surgical procedures like dental cleanings and other common operations would be offered.

  • Diagnostic Services: To accurately diagnose pet illnesses, they would likely offer in-house laboratory tests (such as blood work) and potentially imaging services (like X-rays) to aid in identifying health issues.

  • Medical Treatment for Illnesses: Addressing various pet illnesses, from acute conditions to chronic diseases, would be a core part of their service. The review mentioning a pet with a "terminal illness" indicates they encounter and presumably manage such complex cases.

  • Medication Dispensing: As with any veterinary practice, they would dispense necessary medications, though one review indicates a past issue with medication provision, suggesting that policies regarding this may be a point of concern for some clients.

  • End-of-Life Care: The profound positive feedback regarding the condolences and card sent after a pet's passing strongly suggests that they provide compassionate end-of-life support and remembrance services to grieving pet owners.

The features of Manchester Animal Hospital, as gleaned from client feedback, present a mixed picture. A significant positive feature highlighted by some clients is the **deep compassion and empathy shown by Dr. Clifford and the entire staff, particularly during times of pet loss.** The act of Dr. Clifford calling personally to offer condolences on the same day a pet passed, followed by a signed card from all staff, demonstrates an exceptional level of care and understanding for the emotional bond between pets and their owners. This suggests a dedicated team that acknowledges the profound impact of pet loss and strives to provide comfort during difficult moments. This level of emotional support is a standout quality for any veterinary practice.

However, another perspective from a client review highlights features that suggest challenges in client communication and service delivery. These include concerns about the hospital's policies regarding medication provision, perceived unresponsiveness to urgent calls for a pet with a "terminal illness," and accusations of rudeness or a lack of care when "challenged." The claim that they "do not remember their previous treatments and just want you to return and pay for a procedure you had done already" indicates potential issues with continuity of care or record-keeping, which are critical for effective pet healthcare. This suggests a varied client experience, with some experiencing high levels of care and others encountering significant difficulties in communication and service.

In terms of promotional information, Manchester Animal Hospital, like many pet hospitals, would likely rely on its general reputation, services offered, and client testimonials. The strongly positive review about their compassionate end-of-life care would serve as a powerful endorsement, attracting clients who prioritize empathy and support during difficult times. Such testimonials are often featured on hospital websites or social media channels, aiming to build trust and demonstrate their commitment to client care beyond just medical treatment. The simple act of providing accessible phone numbers also serves as a direct promotional tool for those in need of veterinary services. However, it is crucial to note that the presence of contrasting negative feedback, particularly regarding service issues, could also influence potential clients. Any promotional efforts would need to address how they ensure consistent service quality and positive client interactions across all experiences. Generally, a pet hospital promotes itself by highlighting its comprehensive range of services, the expertise of its veterinarians, and its commitment to animal welfare and client satisfaction. While the positive feedback clearly outlines the potential for deeply compassionate care, the negative feedback suggests areas where the hospital might need to focus its internal improvements and how it presents its client service promise.

I used Manchester Animal Hospital for over 10 years for my dog, Margie. We always received excellent care. When Margie passed, I was in disbelief that Dr. Clifford called that same day to offer her condolences. Following that, all of the staff signed a card and mailed it to us. They know what our animals mean to us and that phone call and card was so incredibly heart warming. Put your trust with Manchester Animal Hospital. They are incredible! Thank you for everything.

I have 2 Pembroke Welsh Corgi's and I take them to the Manchester Animal Hospital. They may not be the cheapest around, but the staff, vet tech, and Veterinarians are friendly and knowledgeable. The way they treat and care for my 2 puppies as if they were their own makeup for any cost differences. I know I am getting the best care for my puppies I can there. I highly highly recommend the Manchester Animal Hospital to everyone.

The tech was amazing she was kind and caring and knowledgeable, I understand ownership of a pup is expensive nothing prepared me for the bill, I totally get its 24 hrs and im greatful but something must be done, this is why so many give up there animals to shelters. We love our pet like family I've done everything to protect her and prevent problems. This is really frustrating. Ty for everything not there fault im sure. New state guidelines should be in place. God bless
