I started going here 2yrs ago when we suddenly lost our Lily and they handled her cremation. Shortly after losing Lily we found out her sister Tefdy was diabetic and they were amazing with Teddy, very compassionate and understanding. I always recommend Magnolia to anyone who ask about a vet.

We’ve recently started taking our senior goldens (Daisy and Chachi) to Magnolia Grace and it has been an amazing experience. The staff is the friendliest of any animal hospital I’ve been to and the prices are great! I love how they listen and never push unnecessary services. We also had a lost puppy show up on our doorstep, so I called to see if they could scan him for a chip and they agreed to help, and this was all after hours. The staff stayed late to make sure the puppy was safe and returned to its owner. They are the best! ❤️

I had heard so many great things about Magnolia Grace Animal Hospital, and I was looking for a more personal vet. That's what I found! Friendly faces, great service, they love animals, and took great care of my dog! I'm glad I found them!

I would preface this review by saying I do not generally take the time to leave this type of feedback as it is generally unproductive and pointless. In this case I feel it is my responsibility to you, the reader and potential client of this clinic to at least make this incident known to you. I took both of my dogs for back-to-back appointments. When booking the appointments I was never told to bring proof of rabies vaccination. I was sent back to an exam room where I was asked about reasons for the visit in more detail and also about the rabies vaccination status. My wife usually handles those things but I knew both of my dogs were up to date and told them that when I got home, I would email a copy of both certificates. They found the status of one of my dogs but could not find the one for my pit mix, as he was vaccinated at a different clinic. Again, I clearly told them I would send a copy of the certificate when I returned home. I was told it was “the law” that the dogs must be verified as being current on the rabies vaccine. Fast forward a few minutes and both of my dogs were back with me in what “used to be” an exam room (now they take your dogs to the back to examine and treat them). The vet tech asked me again about going ahead and getting a rabies shot just to make sure to which I clearly said, NO, I will send the certificate when I get home. She then says she forgot to take my dog’s temperature and said she would tell the vet about my sending the certificate when I got home and see what she (Dr. Antley) would advise. It briefly crossed my mind that they may vaccinate him under the guise of removing him from the room to take his temperature, but I thought, that was just me being paranoid—they would never do that! Well sure enough, the vet tech brought my dog back and said, “we went ahead and gave him his rabies vaccine while he was back there....” This was an inexcusable breach of doctor/patient trust and should be considered a crime. As egregious as this was, I simply told the vet tech this should have never happened and proceeded to the check-out desk. Told the lady I did not consent to the rabies shot and for her to take it off. She went back and talked the doctor who told her to tell me that they would be glad to take off but would send that portion to collections. I couldn’t believe my ears! I knew I should just pay it and leave while I was still maintaining my composure. Now, why would they do this? I can’t presume to know for sure but would have to assume they thought I was lying about the vaccine status of my dog and thought they would (for the good of the dog) go against his owner’s clearly expressed wishes and vaccinate the dog. I know, what’s the big deal? It’s just a rabies shot, right? Maybe, but it is also medical treatment for my dog that I not only did not consent to, but clearly stated I did not want. I don’t know about you, reader, but I’d rather not take my dog to a vet that doesn’t trust their clients (my dog IS current on his rabies vaccine) and who thinks they have the right to treat my dog with unnecessary medical interventions against my wishes. Not once did they admit they were wrong but rather were sorry for any “miscommunication that may have occurred...” I know I will never again trust this practice with my animals’ medical treatment.
