Excellent care. One of the last privately owned, non-corporate emergency clinics in southern Wisconsin. We received amazing emergency care for our little Boxer with serious meningitis. I loved the fact that the doctor and her nurse were self professed "cat people", and listened closely to any tips and info I provided about my girl. They were thorough and patient with me as I tried to mentally digest the painful choices and options available to us. I greatly appreciated the honesty and genuine care we were given. Even though they were very busy, I did not feel rushed or pressured in any way regarding the decisions I was facing, and for that I am truly grateful. All staff were welcoming and the facility was swept often throughout the day. There's a separate cat waiting room, a vending machine for drinks, and free coffee and water available. Front desk staff were genuinely cheerful and friendly - a welcome relief on a very hard day.

It’s about time I leave a review here. Dr Silbernagle is a fantastic surgeon. Two of my dogs had both knees done with a TPLO surgery. Everyone was so kind and compassionate to me, and my dogs. Even when I was anxious about their recoveries, the staff were patient, took my calls, and talked me through a very stressful time. I am so grateful to each and every doctor and staff who worked with us. Having to do 4 knee surgeries was overwhelming and Madison veterinary specialists made it manageable for me and my dogs. The picture is after all was said and done, we are back to playing!

So very impressed with Dr. Silbernagel. Our visit was for our little boy Charlie needing knee surgery. My husband and I feel very confident in his surgeon and trust that he will be well cared for.

The most wonderful vets work here. We are extremely thankful to have MVS so close to us. Both of my dogs have had some pretty unique issues going on and Dr. McDaniel has seen them and helped them both. You can tell she really cares about your dogs and takes the time to explain results, diagnosis, etc to you without making you feel rushed. We also have had follow-up questions and have called her in between appointments to ask questions - she has always been more than willing to talk through things with us. My dog has had surgery with Dr. Tuttle who was extremely kind, patient and was willing to answer all my questions. We will always choose MVS for our emergency veterinary care!

As far as emergency vet visits go, this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. Sydney was incredibly responsive, compassionate, and attentive over the phone. She asked me to email photos of my pup’s condition and got back to me within 30-45 minutes with clear options. We arrived at MVS around 4:10 AM and were home by 6 AM with medication and a detailed treatment plan. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, friendly, and—most importantly—gentle with my dog. Oh, and the best part? The total cost was only $297—we were expecting at least $400! I truly can’t say enough good things about this place. Thank you for the excellent service!
