The care is great but it will cost you. I had an appointment scheduled to have my dog’s teeth looked at for a cleaning. I decided to call back to get an idea of the costs before the actual cleaning. I was told that they wouldn’t be certain on the price for the preliminary (weird) and I know the actual cleaning ranges between a couple hundred dollars. Last time I was charge the highest amount without any extractions taken place. The price of one cleaning for my dog is the equivalent of three cleanings for me. I’m going to shop around the area for the dental work, it’s simply too much time and money to go here.

Welcome to Madison Pet Clinic

Welcome to Madison Pet Clinic, a Pet Hospital located in Webb City, Missouri, dedicated to providing veterinary care for your beloved animal companions. As a Pet Hospital serving the Webb City community, Madison Pet Clinic aims to offer a range of services to support the health and well-being of your pets. The available customer reviews provide a mixed but insightful glimpse into the clinic's approach, highlighting both the compassion of the staff and a concern regarding the cost of certain procedures.

As a Pet Hospital, Madison Pet Clinic likely offers a suite of essential veterinary services. These typically begin with preventative care, which includes routine wellness examinations. These checkups are crucial for monitoring your pet's overall health, administering necessary vaccinations to protect against common diseases, and providing guidance on nutrition, parasite prevention (such as flea, tick, and heartworm control), and behavioral advice. Regular wellness visits allow the veterinary team to establish a baseline of your pet's health and detect any potential issues early on.

In addition to preventative care, Madison Pet Clinic would likely provide diagnostic services to help determine the cause of illness or injury in pets. This may include in-house laboratory testing, such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal examinations, which can provide rapid results to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. While the availability of advanced imaging technologies like digital X-rays or ultrasound is not explicitly mentioned, these are common tools in veterinary hospitals for visualizing internal structures and assisting in more complex cases.

For pets requiring medical intervention, Madison Pet Clinic would offer medical management for a variety of conditions. This involves diagnosing illnesses, prescribing appropriate medications, administering treatments, and providing ongoing care and monitoring. The specific areas of medical expertise available would depend on the veterinarians and staff at the clinic.

It is also reasonable to assume that Madison Pet Clinic offers surgical services, at least for routine procedures such as spaying and neutering. These surgeries are commonly performed for population control and can offer various health benefits to pets. The availability of more complex surgical procedures would depend on the clinic's facilities and the specialization of its veterinary team.

One of the customer reviews focuses on the cost of dental cleaning for a dog. The reviewer expressed concern that the estimated cost for a preliminary examination and the actual cleaning seemed high, especially when compared to the cost of dental cleanings for humans. They also mentioned a previous experience where they were charged the highest amount for a cleaning without any extractions. This review suggests that while the care at Madison Pet Clinic may be good, the pricing for certain procedures, particularly dental work, may be a point of concern for some pet owners, leading them to seek more affordable options elsewhere.

In contrast, the second customer review offers a deeply moving testament to the compassion and care provided by Madison Pet Clinic, particularly during a very difficult time. The reviewer shared their experience of having to make the decision to euthanize their Great Dane who was suffering from rapidly progressing cancer. They were incredibly touched by the support and kindness shown by the staff during this heartbreaking process. The fact that all the employees signed a card with thoughtful messages about their dog left a lasting impression and brought them to tears. This level of empathy and personal touch speaks volumes about the caring culture at Madison Pet Clinic. As a result of this positive experience, the reviewer, who recently moved to Joplin, intends to make Madison Pet Clinic their sole veterinary provider for their other dog, highlighting the strong bond and trust they developed with the clinic.

These two contrasting reviews illustrate the complexity of evaluating a service-based business like a Pet Hospital. While one customer found the cost of dental care to be prohibitive, another experienced exceptional compassion and support during a profound loss, leading to a strong commitment to the clinic.

Information regarding the specific environment of Madison Pet Clinic is not detailed in the provided text. However, one would expect a clean and professional setting with examination rooms, potential surgical and dental areas, and a comfortable waiting area for pet owners. The emphasis on compassionate care suggests a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for both pets and their families.

Promotional information is not available in the provided data. Veterinary clinics sometimes offer introductory specials for new clients or seasonal promotions for specific services. Located at 1631 S Madison St, Webb City, MO 64870, USA, Madison Pet Clinic provides a physical location for local pet owners to access veterinary care. The positive review highlighting the compassionate end-of-life care suggests a team that goes above and beyond in supporting pet owners through difficult times, while the concern raised about dental cleaning costs indicates that potential clients may want to inquire about pricing for specific procedures.

In conclusion, Madison Pet Clinic in Webb City, MO, appears to be a Pet Hospital that is deeply appreciated for its compassionate care, particularly in sensitive situations like end-of-life care. The staff's kindness and empathy have clearly made a significant positive impact on at least one pet owner in the community. However, another customer's experience suggests that the cost of certain procedures, such as dental cleaning, may be higher compared to other options in the area. For local users in Webb City and Joplin, Madison Pet Clinic offers a caring environment, but it may be prudent to inquire about the pricing of specific services to ensure it aligns with their budget and expectations.

My female Great Dane had developed cancer and it started progressing fast so I had to make the decision to put her down so she could stop suffering, the people here are so amazing with animals and people. I just received a card in the mail with all of the employees signing it and nice saying about my girl , I couldn’t believe the effort that they took it made me cry. I will make an appointment for my male now that him and I just moved in to Joplin and I plan on this being the only vet I ever use . Thank you to all of you , Dave

I had one cat die under their watch. And almost lost another one. Buddy was hit by a car over a month ago. We were told to wait three months before another check up. If we would followed the dr.'s advice his bladder would of burst & he would have also died. Do not recommend this clinic.

In the past 4 months, I've had to take my dog, Bear, To both Emergency vet clinics, Springfield and Arkansas. Once for a vestibular episode, And recently for bladder stones, And blood in the urine. I chose to switch to Madison, From the vet that had treated them from birth, Because they were able to get him in for follow up visits quickly, Rather than 3 weeks, BEST CHOICE I've ever made!! The entire staff is amazing, And I just love the way Dr. Julia Gaither treats Bear, She is so caring, And very thorough. My dogs are no less, Than like my children, And I want the best care for them, I feel I get that at Madison, And I fully trust them with their Healthcare needs. Now with all of that said, Bear also has a very large fatty tumor on his chest, That nobody else wanted to try and attempt a removal. On my first visit, Dr. Frank came in and examined the tumor, And spoke with me in great detail about the procedure, And that he's done probably over a thousand in his career. I do my due diligence, And I have spoke with many vets, And I can tell you that every single one of them has said, If you're pet needs surgery, Especially of this nature and magnitude, Dr. Frank is the one for the job, Again and again, They all said, If their pet needed surgery, Dr. Frank is who they would want doing it, I found that pretty impressive, He was every veterinarians first choice for a surgery like this, So we will be getting that done, After the other issues are resolved. I read reviews like everyone, And I see some that say, This person was rude, This person was short or seemed to not care, I can assure you, They care. We have to remember, They work in a medical field, Where their patients can't speak to them, And they have bad days just like all of us, We're all human. You never know when speaking to them, If they just had to give devastating news to someone 5 min. Prior, Or are struggling to get the desired outcome with a patient, Or a thousand other reasons, That may be causing a less than cheerful attitude at that moment, They get emotional like all of us, And it's because they do care. If I didn't believe that 100%, I wouldn't recommend them, But I absolutely trust my pets care with them, And I fully recommend them to care for yours as well. It's the medical field, Smiles and laughs, Can change in a matter of seconds, Just try to keep that in mind. From myself and Bear, Thank you for the wonderful care!
