DONT TAKE YOUR CATS HERE. DONT COME IF YOU DONT WANT YOU BE RIPPED OFF. the doctor who treated my cat was dr. mulupuri. honestly they really got me angry. from the start, i noticed they were incredibly sweet to the dogs that were present in the waiting room and of course i assumed they'd treat my cat the same but they did not. throughout the entire visit both cats we brought were mostly ignored, while they were very openly friendly with the dogs. we (me and my partner) called ahead to make sure that it was ok as well to bring his best friend/bonded pair which they said was fine (he has very bad anxiety and and i just wanted to make him as comfortable as possible for his first ever official vet appointment) only to take him off to the back because they were worried about his anxiety during his actual appointment. whatever. that's fine. wish they would've told me that was the policy over the phone, as backwards as it seems to specifically take him away from the people he's familiar with, but it's ok. we already knew what it was: a cold that had turned into an eye infection in one of his eyes. all i wanted (and all i could really afford, mind you) was the actual checkup and the medication to treat it because it wasn't going away on its own. and just to clarify they said that the checkup was going to be 75$ over the phone as well. the only new information they gave us was that it was herpes (apparently very common with cats). after they took him away, we waited a long time before anyone else actually came back and it was with the bill. they explained that apparently they needed to do an eye stain to check for ulcers even though it was clearly a MILD eye infection, and that apparently it was a whole package thing that they charged 120$ for, on top of the checkup fee and not including any of the prescribed medications. i want to reiterate that they absolutely did not ask for permission to do this beforehand. we did not want some weird pack, we just wanted them to do a normal checkup and do the NECESSARY things. they didn't even actually test for the herpes! that wasn't part of the package. and other than the eye stain all they did was clean his eye, there was no actual package. but of course since they already did everything i couldn't exactly argue with them about what they charged me. and i also didnt fully realize until after just how much they charged for that was completely unneeded. did i mention we didn't even get to meet the dr until after i signed the bill? and even when we met him, all he had to say was that we should change our cats flea treatment to one that costs twice as much as what we currently use. my partner mentioned the fact that we have a medication for an eye infection that was never used and isn't expired from one of our other cats so the doctor could check if it could work instead of what he was going to prescribe. he left to go see, because we had put it in the cat carrier, and the vet assistant said that he thought "the one he's prescribing would work better." after we finally left and paid, we compared the medications just to find out they are virtually the same medication! they even put a sticker over the new box with a different name so it'd seem different. the only actual difference was the filler for it. also they immediately booked us in for another appointment for ANOTHER unneeded eye stain which we of course cancelled. it was a terrible experience and i honestly don't understand why the vet that treated us even got into veterinary care, since he clearly doesn't actually care about animals. the picture shows the medications for proof edit to add that his eye has a scab on it now, probably because it was crusted over and my guess is that they were too rough when "cleaning" it and hurt him.

Jan 07, 2025 · Crowley FigueredoDo not go there for emergency. Very inconsiderate and no compassion. They may be fine for regular care but they should remove their “emergency visit” as they did nothing. Vet wasn’t even there when they opened and they were like she’ll get there when she does… I should have gone to a real emergency vet place. Not these crooks. (The actual vet when she came in was fine but still no urgency from them to help my dog… they wanted tons of lab work before actually helping him and was told I would still actually need to go to an actual emergency vet) He was laid to rest 30 min after this with a real compassionate vet that realize the urgency of our situation.
Mar 02, 2025 · Charlotte BlanchetI was referred to Macland Animal Clinic by my Fur baby's vet because they were short staffed. When I say I was so impressed with the staff and the facility. Very clean, all the staff were great especially my tech Tye. I will definitely be changing locations in order for them to continue to take care of my fur baby!! The front desk staff were patient, personable, caring, and very empathetic. Love everything about this facility. You have definitely gained a new fur baby! Shouts out to Dr. Marshall! She was amazing!!
Aug 02, 2023 · Tora BlakeI wish I could leave zero stars. I brought my dog Maggie to this clinic let me just say we saw Dr. Sharomi he was unprofessional sensitive and gets mad very easily we asked him why he muzzled our dog. He indicated she looked aggressive, I then asked did she do something to warrant being muzzled he said no it was based off of his feelings. I told him that wasn’t a good enough reason to muzzle my dog without my permission. I was very upset he then told us to leave his facility he didn’t like our attitude and to never come back. I told him I would gladly leave and when the vet tech was handing us a copy of the paperwork he told her no since we didn’t pay indicating we were not going to pay. I have spent a lot of money at this establishment and the type of treatment me and my dog received was unacceptable, as a vet if you are afraid of German shepherd’s you should not be a be doing that job. There are two other vets there who are professional and pleasant. One got on the floor at eye level until my dog was comfortable. If you decide to come here I suggest you see the other two. .I would not recommend seeing Dr. Sharomi.
Jul 10, 2024 · Symone ScottA God send! Especially if your fur baby has an emergency on a Sunday . All the staff are carrying and the Vets and tech are very knowledgeable. They truly saved my dog. And their prices are great. My baby they saved.
