Took our puppy to be spayed, and they made all of us feel so comfortable and explained everything. They took wonderful care with her. I could not be happier. I know they truly care about these animals and what they do. She is resting at home for the next 10-14 days but already wanted to play after one day.

We aim to provide a clean, safe, and well-equipped space where your pet can receive the best possible care.

Lorain Animal Clinic offers a range of essential veterinary services to address various aspects of your pet's health. Based on the available information, we can infer that their services include surgical procedures, as indicated by the spaying of a puppy. The positive review highlights a comfortable experience and clear explanations provided to the pet owners, suggesting a focus on communication and patient care during such procedures. Additionally, the mention of nail clipping indicates that basic grooming services may also be offered.

However, another customer review raises concerns regarding the thoroughness of examinations and the communication provided during a consultation for a limping dog with a lump. This review suggests that while some basic services like nail clipping were performed, the pet owner felt their concerns were not adequately addressed, and further diagnostic options like X-rays were not offered. It's important to note that this is a single negative experience, and it may not be representative of the overall quality of care provided by Lorain Animal Clinic. However, it does highlight the importance of clear communication between pet owners and veterinarians, as well as the need for comprehensive diagnostic evaluations when health issues arise.

Based on the positive feedback, a key feature of Lorain Animal Clinic appears to be their caring and compassionate approach to animal care. The reviewer who brought their puppy for spaying specifically mentioned feeling comfortable and appreciated the clear explanations provided. This suggests that the clinic prioritizes patient comfort and strives to keep pet owners informed throughout the process. The positive interaction with a staff member named Jessica, who showed empathy and offered assistance to a concerned pet owner, further indicates a commitment to customer service and a willingness to address concerns.

On the other hand, the negative review points out a potential area for improvement in terms of consistent customer service and thoroughness of veterinary assessments. The reviewer described an interaction with a staff member who was perceived as rude and unhelpful, and expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of diagnostic options offered for their dog's condition. This highlights the importance of ensuring all staff members are empathetic and professional, and that all medical concerns are addressed with appropriate diagnostic measures and clear communication of treatment options.

I was concerned about my dog’s paw because she has been limping and I also felt a lump on her stomach. I brought my dog to this place and all they did was say keep an eye on the lump and clipped my dog’s toenails and said my dog probably stubbed her toenail and sent us on our way. I also heard my dog crying in the back which she normally does not cry for a nail clipping and I asked if I could check on her and a woman named Jennifer at the front desk was very rude. She immediately said she’s fine and no I cannot go back there, as a concerned dog parent I was very upset and I asked why I could not go check on her and she just started at me with a rude mug in her face. A woman named Jessica was very helpful and showed kindness to me as she could see I was upset she automatically stood up and asked what my dog’s name was so she could check on her. She let me know that she wanted me to be comfortable there. That was a scary experience for me and Jennifer made it worse. She showed no empathy and was completely unprofessional. The veterinarian that looked at my dog did not tell me any other options or offer to give an X-ray. I am not one to wait around until things get worse for my baby. I paid for what I could’ve done at home myself. This is not okay and my dog is still limping. I will be getting a second opinion on my concerns for my dog.

First time Basset Hound puppy owner. Took my pup to LAC to start his first vaccines. I was so impressed, everyone was so nice and even the clients were so pleasant. Dr. Andy was great and answered all the questions I had. The technical staff made my baby feel loved and the receptionist where so helpful and took their time with me even though they were really busy.. GREAT JOB!!! I will be back not only with my basset hound, but my other 2 dogs.

Love this place they took care of my dog Rosie very well. When she broke her leg, a different clinic informed me that she would need costly surgery right away. I only payed $25 for her cast and nothing else for the rest of her checks up and they even accepted me to call in and ask if they could re do her cast when my dog would undo it.
