Went there for years with our first Golden Retriever Gabriel. They encouraged neutering at 6 months which, at such an early age, has been linked to multiple issues later in their lives. We did so and he had a torn patella, acl surgery and died at 7 years from hemangiosarcoma, a tumor on his heart. There is more to the story and Long Valley Animal Hospital is not responsible for our pups DNA or the care that he received from subsequent vets but you need to be able to trust your vet to be up to date with the latest literature on animal health, especially when the decisions that you make have implications that will impact them later in life.

Jan 03, 2023 · Dennis SulerI had an emergency with my Dog bobby and was desperately trying to find a place that would see him last minute. I called long valley animal hospital and right away they fit me in. What an amazing place and staff! So welcoming and truly worried about my dog. From the moment i walked in to the moment i walked out everyone showed such professionalism and passion for their jobs! My dog ended up having a real emergency and they were able to quickly come up with a plan. They have gained a new patient because i will definitely be going back for my dogs needs.
Jul 26, 2024 · Monique PiresLVAH has given my cats excellent advice and treatments for years! Their staff are kind, gentle, truly interested in each patient and comforting! THANK YOU!
Oct 19, 2023 · Samantha HoosI recently moved to the area and am glad to have them so close to home. The love and care they show not only to your furbaby but also to you as a human is so refreshing. As someone who knows the severe hardships of working in the vet industry, compassion and empathy can sadly be hard to come by sometimes. Not here! Everyone here radiates with love and compassion and the care they give is exactly what a pet owner would want. Thank you for your hard work in such a hard industry!
May 30, 2023 · Brittany FrostWe have been so pleased with Long Valley Animal Hospital. Our 2 y/o Bichonpoo sees Dr. Lauren Semanchik who is so sweet! Our pup has anxiety and the office is very accommodating and understanding. Rarely do we ever have to wait or are we amongst other animals/patients. It is helpful to receive their reminders for when our pup is due for vaccines. We used to go to a big animal hospital from where we used to live, and we are way more pleased with the feel of this smaller animal hospital. Would highly recommend Dr. Lauren!
