Hats off to the team of Allie Myers and Marissa Brown! They were able to successfully clip Zeus's nails without the aid of anethesia. Zeus has been so afraid until this point. We are so grateful for their expertise in managing a dog like Zeus. When you see the photo you will understand! He is sweet like a kitten until you touch his paws...Nice job!!!

My sweet new Doberman rescue, Duck Duck, couldn’t have received better care! Dr. Yasin and Katie have treated him like family from day 1. I’m beyond grateful for their kindness and expertise. I also bring my other Doberman Goose to Long and from the front desk to checkout to surgery, this is hands down the best veterinary care I’ve experienced in 30 years. Thank you all for taking such amazing care of my boys!

We had a wonderful experience with Long Animal Hospital & Emergency Center and cannot praise them enough!! They go out of their way to provide excellent pet care services! We contacted every veterinarian clinic in and around Hickory, NC specifically for dog emergency C-sections, and Long Animal Hospital & Emergency Center was the only one who was available to fit us in late on the weekend. We had a last minute emergency with our heavily pregnant Pembroke Welsh Corgi during the Covid pandemic back in December 2020. The staff went out of their way to work us in ASAP even though it was after hours on a Saturday and we lived a hour away in Hickory, North Carolina. It was extremely easy and straight forward process as soon as we arrived there. They got us in the back immediately for an exam and very unfortunately our momma dog ending up requiring a emergency C-section. Thankfully her 6 healthy, chunky babies were delivered quickly and safely. Cannot express how relieved we are that mom and all her puppies thrived under Long Animal Hospital & Emergency Center's care! Everyone who works at Long Animal Hospital & Emergency Center goes above and beyond for your pets and is very helpful, friendly, and understanding. They provide top notch customer service and have the most reasonable prices hands down. We really appreciate them being flexible and accommodating, especially with the prompt assistance of the urgent care needed for our Corgi's emergency C-section! We really appreciate everything you all do at Long Animal Hospital & Emergency Center and the incredible kindness and patience shown without any hesitation towards us as their new clients and our pets. Highly recommend Long Animal Hospital & Emergency Center. Honestly cannot express how grateful we are to your staff for saving our Corgi momma and her puppies. This place is great!! They have a store and groomers too so reviews are from numerous services- but the Vet service is 5 stars! We have two cats, Ringo and Carrots, who have been going to them for years. Ringo is our problem child and although we still don’t know 100% what is wrong with him they have nursed him back to health more than once. I ask a lot of questions so they are always patient. If you have a sick cat ask for Dr Gibson. The front desk called him the cat whisperer and he REALLY is. Every Dr we have seen here has been so great though so you can’t go wrong. Dr Whitman, Serrano, Patrick, Warbueron, Brown, Gibson and more I am missing. They talk through options and thought process and genuinely care about your pets. Everyone at the front desk is nice as well. I highly recommend! Thanks to each of you for all that you have done and continue to do.

Could not recommend this place enough!! They are truly a one stop shop, they offer full vet care, physical therapy with underwater treadmills and laser therapy as well as acupuncture! With all of this our old guy lived a healthy and happy life, long enough to see his humans get married! Every vet we've visited with has been friendly and helpful. Plus prices have always been within reason!
