so I made my french bulldog a apointmenzt for nasal surgery and to get neutered and paid over $200 bucks for blood work ( which has to be done before the date of ) so, a couple days before the opperation (I had did some research and from my homework all vets want you to spay or neuter all pets and animals $) so , I called and mentioned it to the recepionist and it wasn't an issue not to have the neuter but to keep the nasal appointment I arrive to my appointment and we go back in the lil room to wait for Dr.Todd to come in and when he does ( he says to me "so, your not wanting to do the neuter) I replied correct .. Dr. Todd then then says to me(if your not doing the neuter im not doing the nasal . Dr. Todd then says to me (it's more important for the neuter than the nasal to him and turns and walks out the lil room.) so as I start out to my truck I realized I had pain over $200 bucks for the pre-operation blood work . so, since he's the one that canceled after I waisted my morning and previous Dr appointment when the appointment was scheduled. plzs showing up for the procedure on time. i turn around . I stepped back in the office and ask nicely could I get a refund on the bloodwork since I already paid and the dr backed out . The recepionist was very nice and then had to go ask Dr. Todd about the refund and she comes back and says the Doctor will be up front in a minute to talk to you. upon his arrival he says to me ( so you want a refund and I say yes sir ) His reply was your not going to get a refund. when you find another vet to do the procedure we will send them the results . I'm not quite sure how anyone else may see this issue. But, if you you come pay me to paint your car and pay me for materials and I tell you when you drop it off (then I tell you (I'm not going to paint your car unless you put new tires on it first (because thats more important to me than your paint" and im just not going to do it ...... so, with this said "should I give you your money back ? " or? since i'm the one that didnt want to paint your car because you didn't put new tires on it first ... should I refund you or tell you ..... ( I will send your materials to the body shop) when you find someone that will do the job. *** maybe if I called and canceled the surgery "I coukd see the Dr's point of view " However the estimate given to me had both procedures on it and priced and the blood work had to be done before either surgery . I just wanna say ... Its not all about the money ! Its more about the waisted time , fuel , and service ! I would reccomend finding a Dr that will do what you want him/ instead of what he wants do! who's ever heard such B.S??

Welcome to Logan County Animal Clinic

Welcome to Logan County Animal Clinic, a Pet Hospital located at 305 Hopkinsville Rd, Russellville, KY 42276, USA. You can reach them by phone at (270) 726-3511 or their mobile number, +1 270-726-3511. As a local pet hospital, Logan County Animal Clinic aims to serve the veterinary needs of the Russellville community and surrounding areas. While direct information about the clinic's environment and specific features is not detailed in the provided reviews, we can infer some aspects based on the nature of a typical pet hospital and the experiences shared by customers.

A standard pet hospital environment is generally designed to be functional and clean, providing spaces for examinations, treatments, and potentially surgical procedures. Waiting areas are typically available for pet owners, and examination rooms offer a private space for consultations with the veterinarian. Depending on the scope of services, the clinic may also have areas for housing recovering animals or for performing diagnostic tests. The overall atmosphere in a pet hospital should ideally be reassuring for both pets and their owners.

Based on the limited information, Logan County Animal Clinic appears to offer a range of veterinary services, including consultations, pre-surgical blood work, and surgical procedures such as nasal surgery and neutering. One customer review mentions scheduling a nasal surgery and neutering for their French Bulldog, indicating that these types of surgical interventions are within their service offerings. The fact that pre-operative blood work was required suggests that the clinic follows standard medical protocols to ensure the safety of animals undergoing anesthesia and surgery. The mention of "Dr. Todd" implies the presence of at least one veterinarian at the clinic who performs these procedures.

However, one of the provided customer reviews details a negative experience regarding a scheduled nasal surgery and a requested neutering procedure. According to the review, the pet owner had paid for pre-operative blood work. Upon arrival for the surgery, a disagreement arose with Dr. Todd regarding the neutering procedure. The reviewer states that Dr. Todd allegedly refused to perform the nasal surgery if the neuter was not also done, despite the owner having previously confirmed with the receptionist that omitting the neuter was acceptable. This led to the cancellation of the nasal surgery by the veterinarian. The customer then requested a refund for the pre-operative blood work, which they claim was denied, although the clinic offered to send the results to another veterinarian.

This particular review raises concerns about the clinic's communication, flexibility, and customer service in this instance. The discrepancy between the information provided by the receptionist and the stance taken by Dr. Todd upon the appointment highlights a potential breakdown in internal communication. Furthermore, the refusal to perform a scheduled and presumably necessary procedure based on the owner's decision regarding a separate procedure, and the subsequent denial of a refund for related pre-operative tests, could be perceived negatively by pet owners seeking clear and consistent service.

On the other hand, a second, very brief review offers a contrasting positive perspective, stating that "Dr. Todd is an excellent surgeon. He and the team at Logan County provide outstanding love and care for our pets. Great hospital." This suggests that some clients have had positive experiences with the surgical skills of Dr. Todd and the overall care provided by the clinic. It's important to consider both positive and negative feedback when evaluating a service provider.

Given the conflicting nature of the limited review information, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive and fully objective overview of the features and promotional information of Logan County Animal Clinic. There is no mention of specific promotions or unique features in the provided text. However, based on the general understanding of a pet hospital, Logan County Animal Clinic likely aims to provide essential veterinary services to the local pet community. The presence of a surgeon suggests a capability for performing various surgical procedures, which can be a significant feature for pet owners requiring such interventions.

To gain a more complete understanding of Logan County Animal Clinic, local users are encouraged to contact them directly at the provided phone number. Inquiring about their range of services, the expertise of their veterinary team, their facilities, appointment procedures, and their policies regarding cancellations and refunds would be beneficial. It would also be prudent to seek additional reviews or testimonials from other pet owners in the Russellville area to obtain a broader perspective on the clinic's reputation and service quality. Understanding their communication practices and how they handle unexpected situations or changes in agreed-upon procedures is crucial for pet owners when choosing a veterinary care provider.

In conclusion, Logan County Animal Clinic in Russellville, KY, is a Pet Hospital offering veterinary services that include surgical procedures. While one customer review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the handling of a scheduled surgery and a refund request, another offers a positive assessment of the surgeon and the care provided. Local users should consider these differing perspectives and proactively seek further information directly from the clinic and other pet owners to make an informed decision about their pet's care.

I took my cat to them and he was having issues with his eyes. He was FeLV positive and it was mentioned this was the underlying issue and that he might need his eyes taken out. The next day he got really bad and I took him back he was feverish and wasn’t eating or drinking. I heard Dr. Todd telling his assistant while I was in the room that he already told me my cat would probably have to lose his eyes. I decided to get a second opinion because I didn’t feel like he was well enough to do that. The other vet mentioned his FeLV was bad and that he probably wouldn’t recover from the surgery and that his condition was really bad and we needed to talk end of life care. While this was not the news I wanted I felt my cat was cared for and several days later he got really bad and quite eating and drinking after trying appetite stimulant. He is now at rest. He was suffering. Had I followed the advice here and had him go through a surgery to remove his eyes I probably couldn’t forgive myself since he would’ve still passed from the FeLV issue he was having. “Being a voice for the voiceless” isn’t welcome video rhetoric it should be in how you practice. Removing my cats eyes to make some money before I had to put him down is cruel.

Been going here for years. Staff is always caring and helpful, no matter if in person, or calling in. Dr. Todd takes care of our pets like his own. We've also used the boarding service a few times. Because one of our pets takes daily meds, we feel better knowing they are well taken care of. We live nearly an hour away across the state line, but it is worth the drive for such great care and service.
