This is the best place you can go to for your pets, they care and remember every pet past and present

Very nice staff. Got me in for an appointment within 2 hours to see my kitty with an injured paw. Some vet offices jump to the most expensive tests. This office takes a conservative approach. For example, my kitty was given a steroid injection to treat inflammation instead of automatically taking X-rays. Is it setup to take on life-threatening emergencies? No, but for simple injuries and routine care, this little office is a wonderful place to take your pet. My only complaint is that they charge a rather steep fee to transfer the health records of a pet with zero past health conditions from another veterinary clinic to their office.

Took my dog there 3 months ago to get his vaccines updated. While there, when the vet came into the room he did not even acknowledge my dog and he was not friendly in the slightest bit, being very short and rude in some ways. During the exam I asked him about these 'knots' that have formed on the side of my dog's neck. While hardly even feeling them he said he's fine, it's normal..... Well fast forward 3 months, and my dog is not 'fine'. We could tell he wasn't feeling well and was starting to puke a lot which was never normal for him. I refused to go back to Lodder's just because of the poor customer service, so I took my dog to Brookside and his knots being the first thing they felt, they already knew pretty much what it was. He had swollen lymph nodes. And if the vet at Lodder's cared for just two seconds to realize that, we may have been able to catch his lymphoma three months ago. But he didn't care. And now my dog also has a tumor on his liver, which is why he isn't feeling good. And I can only believe that maybe if we would have caught it three months ago, just maybe, that tumor wouldn't be there, or at least wouldn't be as large. I just want to put my story out there for people who are thinking of going here. Maybe it'll save you because I sure wish I would have gone somewhere else.
