My girl, Leslie, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of mammary cancer which metastasized to her lymph nodes. It took two operations at West Hills to get her cancer-free. Her doctor then was Dr. Williams. When she moved to Locust Valley we moved with her. Every six months we travel to LI from Manhattan to get Leslie's staging and recheck. All the reviews here are accurate - she is compassionate, knowledgeable and thorough in her explanations. Exemplifies the doctor who truly cares for the animal. After 5 years of being in remission, Leslie developed low-grade carcinoma in two of her four remaining nipples. Another surgery is necessary and we wouldn't want to have the surgery done with anyone but Dr. Williams.

We have two dogs as clients with locust valley vet, one with special needs and chronic medical conditions. The staff is lovely with both and the doctors are truly interested in the health and well-being of them, and not to make money. We love especially Dr Williams who goes above and beyond for Diana: consulting with experts, research, etc. We know our pups are in good hands.

Though I haven’t been a client long, I’ve have been continually impressed with the care, compassion and transparency of Dr. Meloni and her wonderful team. I feel as though I’ve been a client for years and I am floored by the thoroughness and kindness with which my animals and I have been treated. Cannot speak highly enough of this practice. My search for the people who will care for my pets through thick and thin is finally over as I have complete trust that they are already treating my fur kids as though they love them as much as I do.

My dog Liberty got sick and a wonderful woman took me to this location and introduced me to the ladies here(Gale if you read this THANK YOU for what you did!!) The vet tech was originally just going to look her over because they didn't have an opening for the doctor at that moment but they managed to, what I assume, rearrange things/squeeze me in and took Liberty in to be seen by the doctor. Thank you so much for fitting Liberty in for an emergency visit! I absolutely highly recommend that if you need a vet, to come here! The ladies here are absolutely some of the most wonderful people I have ever met, very gentle with animals, and they take time with you to go over everything and explain everything in a way that you can understand.

We’ve been so lucky to find this wonderful vet ever since moving to Glen cove. Dr Williams and the staff are nothing but amazing to our cats. Giving them the proper care and love every time they visit. I know it’s not easy to find the right spot nor be able to trust the right people but I promise that this vet is the right spot for you pet !
