Dr. Tiffany Krantz is professional and thorough in her work. I've tried to get a vet out to do several things to my llama, but no vet I contacted would make a farm call for a camelid. Thankfully, many people recommended Dr. Tiffany, and she took fantastic care of him. I also had her check a couple bottle calves while she was here, and she gave them antibiotics and a plan of care. I will always recommend Livingston Vet Clinic and Dr. Tiffany. Thank you!

Welcome to Livingston Veterinary Clinic

Welcome to the introduction of Livingston Veterinary Clinic, a "Pet Hospital" located in Livingston, Tennessee. Based on the available customer reviews, the experiences seem to vary significantly. One review highly praises Dr. Tiffany Krantz for her professionalism and thoroughness, particularly highlighting her willingness to make farm calls for camelids (llamas) and her care for bottle calves. In contrast, another review expresses dissatisfaction with the clinic's response to a new patient with a puppy needing urgent care. This introduction aims to provide local users with an objective overview of the environment, services, features, and any implicit promotional or cautionary aspects of Livingston Veterinary Clinic, based solely on these two contrasting testimonials.

Location and Contact Information:

Livingston Veterinary Clinic is located at 515 Monterey Hwy, Livingston, TN 38570, USA. For appointments or inquiries, you can contact them by phone at (931) 403-5553 or their mobile number +1 931-403-5553.

Environment:

The provided reviews do not offer any direct descriptions of the physical environment of Livingston Veterinary Clinic itself. One review focuses on a farm call, implying that services are not always confined to a clinic setting. The other review describes an interaction regarding a visit to the clinic but does not comment on the premises. Therefore, we lack information about the cleanliness, comfort, or facilities of the hospital.

Services Offered:

The customer reviews provide specific examples of services offered by Livingston Veterinary Clinic:

Farm Calls for Large Animals: Dr. Tiffany Krantz is specifically commended for making a farm call to care for a llama, something other contacted vets would not do. She also checked bottle calves on the same visit and provided antibiotics and a plan of care. This strongly indicates that Livingston Veterinary Clinic, or at least Dr. Krantz, offers mobile veterinary services for farm animals, including camelids and cattle.

General Pet Care (Potentially Limited for New Patients): The negative review describes a new patient seeking care for a puppy with a paw issue being turned away, with the explanation that the doctor was not taking new patients, especially close to closing time. While this doesn't detail the services they *do* offer to established patients, it suggests a potential limitation for new clients seeking immediate care, at least under certain circumstances (e.g., near closing time).

Based on the category "Pet Hospital," it is reasonable to assume that Livingston Veterinary Clinic offers a range of standard veterinary services for companion animals, such as dogs and cats, for their existing clientele. These likely include:

  • Preventative care (vaccinations, parasite control, wellness exams).
  • Diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
  • Surgical procedures.
  • Dental care.

However, the provided reviews do not give a comprehensive list of these services. The positive review highlights large animal/farm services, while the negative one focuses on the difficulty a new patient faced in accessing care for a small animal.

Features:

Several features can be inferred from the reviews:

Dr. Tiffany Krantz's Expertise and Willingness for Farm Calls: Dr. Krantz is portrayed as professional, thorough, and uniquely willing to travel to farms to treat animals like llamas, where other vets would not. This specialized service for farm animals, especially camelids, appears to be a significant feature of the clinic, at least through Dr. Krantz.

Potential Limitations for New Patients: The negative review suggests that the clinic, or at least the specific doctor on duty, may not always be available to take on new patients, particularly for urgent issues near closing time. This could be a crucial factor for individuals new to the area or those whose regular vet is unavailable.

Promotional Information:

The positive review serves as strong implicit promotion for Dr. Tiffany Krantz and the clinic's farm call services, especially for owners of llamas and other farm animals who have struggled to find veterinary care. The reviewer's statement, "I will always recommend Livingston Vet Clinic and Dr. Tiffany," is a powerful endorsement for this aspect of their practice.

Conversely, the negative review serves as a cautionary note for new patients seeking immediate care, suggesting that availability might be an issue under certain circumstances.

In conclusion, Livingston Veterinary Clinic in Livingston, TN, appears to offer valuable services, particularly farm calls for large animals like llamas and care for cattle, with Dr. Tiffany Krantz receiving high praise for her professionalism and willingness to travel. However, a potential drawback highlighted by another customer is the possibility of being turned away as a new patient, especially for urgent needs near closing time. For local users, especially those with farm animals needing veterinary attention, Livingston Veterinary Clinic, and Dr. Krantz specifically, seems to be a highly recommended option. New pet owners seeking immediate care for smaller animals might want to consider this potential limitation based on the provided feedback and perhaps inquire about their new patient policies. To get a comprehensive understanding of all services offered and the clinic's policies regarding new patients and emergency care, direct contact is recommended.

I realize I'm new in town and it was an hour away from closing, but my pup had something wrong with her paw, and all i got was Dr. So and So isn't taking new patients, so i asked if they new of anyone that is and i got the same response that the Dr. isn't taking new patients. Very rude. Needless to say, a quick google search, i found vca animal hospital on rt.111 north, about 2 miles away, i went, they took me in with open arms, i explained the situation, they assessed the situation, with an x-ray check for broken bone which was negative, they trimmed her nails, checked her ears, gave her a check up, and sent me home with 2 medications for her infection. And she has to be sedated for her nails, for a reasonable $560.00 i feel. I wouldn't recommend Livingston Vet to anyone.

Dr. Tiffany was amazing. We have a smaller mixed breed dog . He is just 4 years old. On November 2, 2025 our pair little guy was attacked by 2 German Shepherd dogs. We got him to vet clinic within 30 th 45 minutes after the attack. We didn't have much hope and neither did anyone else including the vet staff. Doc rushed him right into surgery and worked on his crushed and broken ribs. She stitched 7 holes up, one you stick 4 fingers in. She made sure someone was with him most of the day and night. She herself spent several hours with him til wee morning. The next morning she sent us a video showing him standing and wagging his tail. We were allowed to visit him the next evening. She was still not sure if he was out of the woods but told us he was strong. On Monday at 2:15 we got the call: my heart dropped to my feet until we heard "you can come and pick up Huck anytime" Doc Tiffany you are amazing. Your love for animals, large or small shows through your work. We will forever be grateful to you for saving our boy. We will tell everyone we know how great and wonderful you are with our boy and how you go above and beyond to treatable animals you see. Thank you again, James, Brenda and Huck
