My cat “Simon” had teeth problems and was in pain. He lost a lot of weight. This was a picture that the vet office sent me on the day of surgery to remove most of his teeth. My cat was back to his same self two days after having teeth removed. He stopped hiding and wants to be around his family again. I’m very pleased with his recovery.

As usual, helpful, compassionate, friendly, clean, and great aftercare! We wouldn't take our fur babies anywhere else!

I would not go anywhere else! The staff and Vets are amazing. They helped me through grieving process when I lost my pug and they celebrated a new puppy! I love all of them!

I am very disappointed in the recent changes I’ve experienced with this facility. My family and I have been loyal clients for over 25 years. When I recently requested a short, two-day extension for completing a payment, I was told, ‘We don’t do payment plans here.’ Yet, moments later, I overheard the front desk arranging a payment plan for another client. This inconsistency was disheartening and made me feel as though loyalty no longer holds value. In the past, appointments at this clinic were difficult to secure due to high demand—a testament to their reputation and care. However, they were able to see us the very next day this time, which felt like an indication of a change in clientele or practices. It’s truly saddening to see a facility that was once so compassionate and dedicated to animals and their owners feel more like a corporate operation, prioritizing policies over relationships. I hope the clinic will consider returning to the personalized, community-focused approach that originally set it apart.

Being a ferret owner comes with many health concerns & it is hard to find care for exotic pets like ferrets. After a trying night struggling to find an ER doctor who sees ferrets after 5pm I exhausted all options waiting all night at a 24 hour emergency vet who didn't have a vet on staff to see ferrets . First thing in the morning I called around to veterinary hospitals and found Littlestown Veterinary Hospital. From the moment they answered the phone they were different from the 12+ providers I called - they listened, they were compassionate from start to finish, they allowed me to express my entire timeline of events (multiple times), they got me an Emergency visit within an hour of me calling. They educated me about the process, updated me every step of the way, they were transparent with cost estimates and understanding of cost consciousness. The emergency exotic pet visit with observation and treatment was under $300 which is on the lower end for exotics especially with the quality of care my little guy received. They also sent me home with educational materials on my pets condition and gave me a brief on what signs, symptoms & emergency steps to take and recommend a follow up but we're not pushy rather explained the reasoning for a follow-up. This was one of the best visits with a veterinarian I have had. We will be transferring both of our ferrets care to here. 10/10 Also- they provide end of life services and have a candle at the reception area they light when someone is spending their last moments with their loved one to remind others to lower their voices to keep a peaceful environment during a trying time.
