I was recommended them in January 2023, and took my girl who became severely sick unexpectedly. The hospital my dog stayed at gave her a week to live (ps, DO NOT recommend the ACCESS in Woodland Hills!! The staff are fine but the vets are not!), and out of desperation i took my dog to see Dr. John and then Dr. Garcia. They worked with Lani and Dr. Garcia was seeing us twice a week for months just so we could keep up with the lab work and see what treatments were working. My beautiful girl is here because they worked with me and refused to quit. I am forever indebted to the vets and staff of Little Paws. Lani and I moved cities, but I still go to Little Paws for my pup's care :)

Dec 19, 2024 · Mickey PorcheI rarely take the time to leave a review unless it is absolutely necessary. I am writing this review so that the good citizens of Santa Clarita are aware of the way that Little Paws Dog & Cat Hospital handles their loyal and longstanding customers. Both of our goldendoodles have been seen here multiple times over the course of the past couple of years. Today, my dog had blood in her stool and was acting lethargic so I brought her in. I signed documentation stating that the total for the visit could be anywhere from $450 to $750, which I was fine with and agreed to. After waiting for over an hour for blood testing, the doctor called me in explained the blood work to me and advised that they recommended an antibiotic shot, an anti-nausea shot, fluids, and medication to take home. Then, the technician came in to go over the cost for the treatment and told me the final total, out the door, would be $552.64, if I agreed to the additional shots, fluids, and medication. I agreed based on their representation that the total for the visit would be $552.64. When the receptionist went to "charge me out" she told me the total was over $650 - $100 more than what I agreed to. I told them that I agreed to pay $552.64. Then, they called one manager out to speak with me and I explained the situation. That manager called another manager out, and I explained the situation again. I told the managers that it is not fair to tell a customer that the total is one thing, and then try and charge them more when it is time to check out. The second manager told me that I was "aware that the fee was $95 for an emergency visit." I told the manager that I did not know that. I explained that the only thing I agreed to at the beginning of the visit was that the cost could range anywhere from $450 - $750, which again, I was fine with. I also explained that the cost of the emergency visit is not the issue; rather, no matter what, the emergency visit cost should have been included in the "total" that the technician asked me to agree to before I gave them permission to proceed. The manager agreed and said that the technician should have told me the correct total. He then proceeded to tell me that he would waive the extra fee and I could pay the $552.64, but that I am not allowed to come back with my dogs to the facility ever again. In other words, despite admitting that they made a mistake and that the technician should have given me an accurate total (but did not), this business would rather throw away a loyal customer over its own $100 mistake than simply take accountability for their mistake and move on. Horrible customer service. Like I said, I rarely post reviews, but this is a matter of principle that really bothers me. Everyone knows that vets can be extremely and unreasonably costly. I knew that going into this visit today. My problem is that they misinformed me about the total, then expected me to pay a price I did not agree to. After all of that and admitting that they made a mistake, had the audacity to tell me I cannot return to the facility with my pets. I have probably paid this place well over $3,000 over the course of years and they just lost a customer over an error that they are 100% responsible for. Common sense and good customer service dictates that the proper course of action would have been to simply honor the $552.64; not blame the customer and ban them from the facility. My advice would be to make sure you know the total before you agree to pay anything, but unfortunately, that advice will not do you any good at this business because they will just add and change the total on you at the last minute. Good luck.
Feb 26, 2025 · Ellery GordonI have been going here for years. My pets receive the best care from Dr. Garcia and Dr. Jon. They only charge you for what your pet needs, unlike other places. They are fair in their prices and don't rush your appointment. They will also take in emergency walk-ins, which I have had to use recently. They really care for your pets like they are family. My 2 dogs love coming here. I will never go anywhere else.
Feb 29, 2024 · Rebecca SanchezI was so impressed by my experience at Little Paws! The entire staff was super helpful, considerate, understanding, and flexible with treatment options and specific needs. My dog can be a little nervous, and the staff was absolutely anmazing, and wonderful, with accommodating my dogs sensitivities and anxiety. Specifically, Olivia (Vet tech), Jessica (vet tech), Crystal, Heidi (manager), and Dr. Hernandez were all incredible in working with us while trying to address my pets injuries and needs. I am beyond grateful to them ALL for their teamwork in providing the best care, especially given our budget. You can’t always find a budget friendly and considerate/thoughtful veterinary practice. The little paws vet team, mentioned above, were all very empathetic and fair. And Budget friendly and flexible to add to that! Thank you to Olivia, Crystal, Heidi, Jessica, and Dr. Hernandez for giving us reassuring care and kindness throughout!
