This was my first time using Dr Kerry's services and my family is so very pleased with the end-of-life service that Dr Kerry provided. She helped us say goodbye to our beloved QB who was part of my kids lives for 15 years. She came to our house which really helped reduce the stress for QB and for our family. She was patient, explained the whole process to us and sat back and gave us the time we needed to say goodbye to our family dog. Words alone can't express our gratitude!

Welcome to Lindemuth Kerry A DVM
Lindemuth Kerry A DVM, often referred to as Dr. Kerry, provides a highly personalized and compassionate veterinary service primarily focused on in-home care for pets in South Burlington, VT, and the surrounding areas. Located at 1693 Williston Rd, South Burlington, VT 05403, USA, her practice distinguishes itself by bringing veterinary expertise directly to the comfort and familiarity of your home. Dr. Kerry can be reached at (802) 862-7021 or by mobile at +1 802-862-7021. This housecall model is particularly beneficial for pets who experience stress during traditional clinic visits, or for families seeking a more intimate and peaceful experience for their beloved companions.
The core of Dr. Kerry's service lies in its unique environmental offering: the client's own home. Unlike a traditional brick-and-mortar pet hospital, Dr. Kerry's practice eliminates the need for pets to travel, enter a potentially stressful clinic environment, or encounter other animals. This is especially vital for geriatric, anxious, or critically ill pets, and for sensitive situations like end-of-life care. As customer reviews attest, this in-home approach significantly reduces stress for both the pet and the family. Pets remain in their familiar surroundings, surrounded by their loved ones, which fosters a sense of calm and security during veterinary procedures. The veterinarian adapts to the home environment, ensuring that the necessary care can be provided effectively and gently. This personalized setting allows for a more focused and undivided attention on the individual pet's needs without the distractions and anxieties often associated with a clinic waiting room.
Dr. Kerry offers a range of veterinary services delivered directly to your doorstep, with a notable specialization in hospice and end-of-life care. This includes in-home euthanasia, a service that is profoundly appreciated by families facing the difficult decision of saying goodbye to a cherished pet. Reviews consistently highlight Dr. Kerry's empathetic approach during these tender moments, allowing families the time and space they need to grieve in privacy and comfort. This specialized service aims to make the final moments of a pet's life as peaceful and dignified as possible, surrounded by love and familiarity.
Beyond end-of-life services, Dr. Kerry's practice also provides general wellness and medical care for a wide range of companion animals. This includes preventative care, routine check-ups, vaccinations, and addressing various medical conditions. Her expertise extends to common household pets such as dogs and cats, but also to a variety of "smallies" or pocket pets, including rabbits, ferrets, rats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and hedgehogs. This breadth of knowledge allows her to cater to a diverse clientele of pet owners with different types of animal companions.
While the focus is on housecalls, for certain diagnostic or surgical procedures that require specialized equipment or a sterile environment, Dr. Kerry may refer clients to a trusted veterinary hospital. However, her primary commitment is to providing as much care as possible within the home setting to maximize comfort and convenience.
The defining features of Lindemuth Kerry A DVM's practice are her profound empathy, patience, and the personal connection she establishes with clients and their pets. Customer testimonials are replete with praise for her compassionate demeanor, particularly during emotionally charged situations. Clients describe her as being "patient," "understanding," and providing "comforting" support during challenging times. She takes the time to explain procedures thoroughly, ensuring that pet owners are fully informed and comfortable with the care plan.
Another significant feature is the reduced stress for both pets and their owners. By eliminating the need for travel and a clinic waiting room, Dr. Kerry creates an environment where pets are more relaxed, allowing for a more accurate assessment and a more positive experience overall. This is especially beneficial for pets with anxiety, mobility issues, or those whose immune systems are compromised.
Her dedication to in-home services also showcases a commitment to client convenience and individualized care. This mobile model allows for flexible scheduling and a more intimate veterinary experience that prioritizes the pet's well-being and the family's peace of mind.
The primary promotional aspect of Lindemuth Kerry A DVM’s services is the unparalleled comfort and compassionate support offered, particularly for end-of-life care. The powerful testimonials from grateful families highlight the unique value proposition of her in-home euthanasia service. This direct experience of a peaceful goodbye in a familiar setting is something many pet owners seek and value deeply.
While specific discounts or package deals are not explicitly detailed, the inherent benefit of her service—convenience, reduced stress, and personalized attention—serves as a strong draw for potential clients. The focus on making difficult moments easier for families and their pets is a significant promotional message. Dr. Kerry's commitment to building long-term relationships with clients, as evidenced by families trusting her with multiple pets over many years, speaks volumes about the quality and consistency of her care. The practice appeals to those who prioritize a gentle, supportive, and highly individualized approach to veterinary medicine, recognizing that for many, pets are truly integral family members.
