We have been taking our dog to Lien for the last 8 years and always appreciated their care. Recently we had to say goodbye to our dog, and the care and compassion that was showed to us by everyone who works at Lien and especially Dr. Wood was beyond what we could have asked for. During our most difficult time, they made us feel so well cared for. I highly recommend them.

Lien Animal Clinic, A Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner Introduce

Welcome to Lien Animal Clinic, A Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner, located at 3710 SW Alaska St, Seattle, WA 98126, USA. As a pet hospital and part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare network, Lien Animal Clinic offers veterinary services for the local community. They can be contacted at (206) 932-1133 or their mobile number +1 206-932-1133.

Based on online reviews, experiences at Lien Animal Clinic appear to vary. One long-term customer expressed deep appreciation for the clinic's care over the past eight years, particularly highlighting the compassion shown by the entire staff and Dr. Wood during the difficult time of saying goodbye to their dog. They highly recommend the clinic based on this experience.

In contrast, another reviewer reported an "appalling lack of empathy" during a visit. This customer requested a different exam room due to a previous difficult experience in the original room following the death of their cat. They described the check-in staff as visibly annoyed and rude when they inquired about switching rooms, suggesting that pet owners seek a more understanding veterinary practice.

As Lien Animal Clinic is part of Thrive Pet Healthcare, they likely adhere to a broader network standard of care and services. However, these two contrasting reviews suggest that individual experiences can differ, particularly concerning emotional sensitivity and customer service at the clinic level.

For local users considering Lien Animal Clinic for their pet's care, it may be beneficial to consider both the positive feedback regarding compassionate end-of-life care and the negative feedback concerning empathy during sensitive situations. Contacting the clinic directly to discuss their services and approach to patient and client care may help in making an informed decision.

Appalling lack of empathy. I asked if my dog could switch exam rooms since my cat had died a pretty tough death in the room we were headed to. I felt bad asking but just really didn’t want to be in that same room again. The person who we checked in with was visibly annoyed by that, seemed very put out, and when I asked if there was an issue with moving rooms became incredibly rude. Save your money and go someplace that understands that losing a pet can be a hard thing for a long time.

My dog is a new patient at Lien and despite what other reviews say, I see no faults with the clinic. We recently moved from out of state and transferring medical records from my previous vet to Lien was a simple process. My 18 month old dog needed routine vaccinations and an annual checkup. Dr. Wood was very gentle and thorough with her exam. When she entered the room, both my dog and I were on the floor playing and she knelt down to meet us there. She gave my dog treats that I brought throughout the exam when he started to get shy and she was able to answer all of my questions. The techs were also gentle and knowledgeable. They reminded me what to look out for in case I thought my dog was reacting poorly to the meds. So far he is doing great! I will continue to use Lien for my dog's needs.

Love Dr Phillips and his staff at Lien. Always great service and they are so gentle with my nervous pup. By the end of the visit she was trying to follow her vet to his next appointment.

Dr. Wolf is truly the best. She has worked with us and our reactive Frenchie for the past five years, providing exceptional care. The entire staff is always accommodating and friendly, and they consistently assist with filing our insurance after each visit. We feel incredibly fortunate to have such high-quality care.
