Liberty Veterinary Hospital

After returning to the area in 2022, I chose Liberty Vet as my dog's care provider, and I couldn't be more pleased with my decision. From the start, I've had nothing but positive experiences, and the care has always been top-notch. The providers and staff truly go above and beyond. When a new vet joins a practice, there's always a little hesitation, especially if the only appointment available isn't with the original provider. But I want to take a moment to rave about their newest addition, Dr. Adam Ballard. We were able to get my dog in for a same-day appointment, and though I thought the issue might be something entirely different, Dr. Ballard quickly assessed the situation and knew right away what was going on. He didn’t waste any time or run off to the back; instead, he relied on his expertise and knowledge, explaining everything clearly to my partner and me. Dr. Ballard treated my senior Frenchie with the utmost care and even called me while my partner was in the exam room to keep me in the loop. He was incredibly kind, transparent, and knowledgeable, breaking down the medical terms so we could fully understand. He also made sure to follow up with calls to ensure the diagnosis was correct, going above and beyond to rule out other possibilities. I'm looking forward to our follow-up visit, and if you're scheduled with the new provider, don’t worry - Dr. Amy Johnstone and the team made the perfect choice adding Dr. Ballard to Liberty Vet!

Dr. Amy is great. She's taken great care of our two dogs and has always answered our questions thoroughly. They will get you in as fast as possible when your dog us in pain or uncomfortable which makes an anxious person like me comfortable. The vet techs are always wonderful, especially Cameron who is Dippers favorite. They are so sweet to both our furry boys even though they are dramatic chihuahuas. I recommend them for great care for you animal babies.

The vets are great. We worked with their new male vet today and he was fantastic. The staff is friendly and the techs are great. The only complaint I could have is they are a little pricey. Other than that they are fantastic

This place will hold you hostage to get as much $$$ out of you as possible!!! DO NOT GO HERE! The receptionist(s) are rude and condescending and their primary goal is to maximize the amount of money they can make off of you. My dog requires a maintenance medication for his thyroid and they refuse to extend his prescription until I come in for a recheck for an ear infection (which is gone). We are being held hostage by this place. When I asked the question to the receptionist(s) (because they wouldn't allow me to talk to the doctor) about what an ear infection has to with his thyroid, they became rude and dismissive and hung up on me. They are only interested in generating as many office visits and changes as possible. If you care about your pets at all, do NOT go here!

I can't thank the doctors & staff enough & Liberty Vet Hosp. They literally saved our Mastiffs life. Dawn was diagnosed with pyometra @ the local emergency hospital & suggested an emergency spay. They were the only hospital that would fit her in (out of 6 I called) for the emergency spay & treatment. She ended up staying 4 days after the emergency surgery for recovery and monitoring. They absolutely gave her the 5-star treatment. We will definitely be switching to Liberty Vet Hospital and will recommend them to anyone! They're all very professional and extremely friendly.
