PLEASE SAVE YOUR PET AND DO NOT GO HERE !!!!! I spent 500$ for my dog to die. They gave me 4 medications, that I didn’t even get the chance to give him because he was in bad shape and they gave him 2 shots, only for him to wake up dead next to me today. Words can’t express how hurt, mad , and torn I am right now. They had the audacity to tell me to bring him in to the start the cremation process… there is no way that I could’ve picked up my dog I was in shock. There was no way that I was going to give this place any more money. I have 2 other dogs, that have been coming here for a while that I feel so scarred to bring in now. I trusted you guys, felt comfortable here. But the way this went down and how you guys handled it really pissed me off. His name was Romeo Pilgrim. The account is under my mom’s name. I now have 4 unused medications ( that were not cheap ) that my dog wasn’t able to take because after the shot you guys gave him, he started bleeding from his mouth, tongue dry, unable to swallow anything. I tried giving him water with a Turkey baster and gave him the food stimulant you guys had me buy - which never worked- a day later told after the blood test you guys informed me he had IPT, and made it seem like it wasn’t that severe so I truly thought my dog will be okay. He didn’t show any signs of sickness up until 12/4/24.. died 12/7/24. I spent 500$ in 2 days only for him to die next to me the next morning. After the shot he received here.

My family and I love Lefferts for our fur-babies medical needs 🙂 We trust Dr. Mistry’s medical expertise and all the staff we’ve dealt with have always been pleasant. As our babies have become seniors and their health concerns have increased, it’s been such a relief to have them seen somewhere reliable.

When I visit with Sasha, I tend to see Dr. Mistry, if not available, Dr. Acevedo, Dr. Mital & Dr. Valdes. I find them ALL to be Exceptional Vets. Dr Mistry is our prime person, and she is brilliant; she listens, understands, and is compassionate. She deals with things in a methodical manner. She refers you out if it is something they cannot deal with. This is my experience.

I have been coming to Lefferts for a few years now. All I can say is they are very professional, and give you outstanding service. They are very reasonable and clear about all fares, and they truly care about your pet. Sadly, we had one of our cats pass away last year. Lefferts made the process seamless and were so empathic. They helped us with everything during our very difficult time. All the doctors and staff here are so kind, honest and knowledgeable. I don’t trust any other facility with my cats. If you’re looking to bring your pet, look no further. Thank you ❤️

Staffs are nice. However they gave my pet some medicine and 6 days later he is dead. I spent so much money to save him, why couldn't they tell me there could be possible adverse reactions of the antibiotics. I took care of my pet for years and I came here only to make sure he gets better. This place never scan pet id. I have been to vets in different states due to my job and they always scan pet id. Shame on you for existing as a health care provider for animals who cant speak for themselves.

I’ve been taking my boys here for about a decade. The office can get a little busy, but the staff is always kind and helpful. The front desk employees always greet us with a smile and make us feel comfortable as soon as we step in the office. The staff has always been caring and supportive. I’ve recommended this place a few times to other pet parents.

Always great service! Dr Mittal is the best, shes knowledgeable, helpful, and truly cares! My doggies feel super safe with her. She is empathetic and explains what is best for our animals with her heart. I trust her thoroughly with my fur babies! Love you!
