This review is from the point of view of a employee and client: I worked here and left because they said there has been complaints about me that I looked “sad” and Dr Tierney waved her arms like a cheerleader and said to me a 44 year old woman that I needed to be more like one and have a better smile. I had already been bullied about this by Vicki the office manager so I had tried to keep a smile on my face more and obviously it wasn’t good enough I had never had any other complaints and I actually worked alone on the three days I worked when two girls worked the other 2.5 days they were open so I was obviously doing an ok job as a receptionist and they trusted me to keep up and do my job.I really worked hard for the $13 an hour I made. From reading their other one star review I would have thought Dr. T would have had my back and defended me saying I was a good employee but maybe I was sad that day and then come to me and asked what was wrong but she could only have that crying employees back not mine. She made me cry for days when I thought I was so awful my complaints must really had affected her business, but had no remorse for that! But here is my true complaint. My dogs were scheduled for dentals the next week after I quit and I had been quoted $600-$800 per dog with my I believe 20% off discount. I cancelled these dentals when I quit and I found a new vet that is highly recommended on Facebook Whitmire in Dawsonville close to the outlets. I took them for an exam to get them scheduled for dentals and meet the vet and had anal glands done and I was shocked when my bill was $104, $76 less than it would have been at Laurel Springs. Then I scheduled them for their dentals and when I picked them up it was $500 for both dogs, $700 to $1100 less than Laurel Springs that is without any discount at the new vet of course. That is just their price! I was in complete shock and that difference literally almost covers Christmas for my family! So it was a blessing in disguise as I had already spent $1500 in vet bills in the three months I was there $1000 in preventative care and $500 for my dogs anal glands so they made back most of what they paid me and definitely would have had I had the dentals done I looked at itemized receipts and saw it was $100 for amoxicillin for both my dogs. It was just a total rip off for everything and I was too blind to realize it at the time and now that I have a new vet my eyes are open to the fact that not all vets are created equal!

Always a wonderful experience, everyone is so kind and the vets really take time to talk with you and address all concerns. I grew up taking my family dog here and now take my dog here! In all our years coming here we have never had anything but an amazing experience. I highly recommend!!

The building itself is very new and modern with the office interior being very clean and well maintained. Staff are actually knowledgeable and very flexible with scheduling. Record keeping is on point. The veterinarian professionals are exceptionally patient and actually care about their patients. You can ask all the questions you need to if you're a first time pet owner without feeling rushed. They are very thorough but never pressure you on making decisions immediately or persuading you to incur unnecessary expenses for extra procedures. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for an informed, organized, low pressure veterinarian.

Our experience started off great... the staff was compassionate toward our ill dog etc, however... Upon the second interaction on another day, my wife spoke with dr. tierney over the phone. We tried to get some information over the phone regarding euthanasia (timeline, cost, etc) and it made the front desk manager upset and cry. The desk manager then proceeded to pass the phone to dr. tierney and she (dr. tierney) blew up on the phone to my wife assuming that my wife was yelling at the front desk manager, telling my wife not to make her staff upset and cry, etc. NOT the case at all... To be spoken to in such a way so that my wife felt extremely disrespected and sobbed to me about her interaction with dr. tierney is something not to be tolerated. I've never left a negative review for any company or person working for a company but this was cannot be swept under the rug.
