Lanett Animal Clinic is always able to get us in quickly. The team is amazing and everyone is ALWAYS so friendly. They always explain everything and are happy to answer questions to minimize any concerns. They offer affordable options for necessary treatments and there are no hidden fees as they go over the bill prior to treatment to allow you to take off anything that's not a requirement. They have even offered credit card options in those tight financial times for me to get the best bang for my buck and come out in the end paying less interest. We've been going to Lanett Animal Clinic for at least 6 years, with 3 different dogs over that time, and have never had a bad experience. Highly recommended. Dec 07, 2024 · Shantel WashingtonThis clinic quite literally SAVED MY DOGS LIFE three weeks ago…. On a Friday night my dog, Red, (8 years old) was acting out of the ordinary for him and we noticed his stomach was swollen. Saturday morning we went to a local vet in our town, they were unable to take X-rays and around 1 that day we were told to go to Lanett Animal Clinic so we took off down the interstate heading for this clinic. We made it in time because thankfully they work 8-3 on Saturdays. They immediately got him in to take X-rays and do blood work. The vet found a HUGE mass in his slpeen and his blood was anemic. The only option we had was surgery. We were made aware that once Red was in surgery if they open him and find that it’s cancer we would have to have him put down right there on the table. They gave us time to say goodbye just in case this was the last time we got to see our boy. We waiting through the surgery and received the call we had been waiting for, they removed a BASKETBALL sized mass from Red’s spleen and we had it sent off to further analyze if it is cancerous or not. We were told if it’s a cancerous mass then we may only have a short time left with Red so just be prepared. After two long weeks with a huge wound and stitches, my Red made a full recovery and the lab said the mass was NOT CANCER. From the bottom of my heart I THANK EVERY SINGLE PERSON AT THIS CLINIC. Your clinic and deep love for animals is why I still have my fur baby. I am forever grateful for everything they did to save his life. He was circling the drain when we first walked in, On the last visit to remove stitches they couldn’t believe how strong he was or just how he was a different dog in general. Thank you thank you thank you for loving my animal and caring for him in his desperate time of need. You have forever gained a loyal client. I will always use this vet for any animal I have or may have in the future. Lanett Animal Clinic thank you for everything and I pray this review brings you an overflow of business. The Standish family loves you all ♥️
Dec 07, 2024 · Alisa McGowanI took my pack in to get them fixed. It was kinda concerning having all 3 done at the same time. The staff was great they are a partner with GA Spay, so I was able to use the coupons with them for the procedures. I took them in at 8 am and got a call around noon to ask about a birth hernia that one of my pups had. They offered to take care of it at a fair price. I picked them up at 4 pm. They were up and moving around pretty much the next day. Today, 4/25 hasn't been a week, and I'm forcing the dogs to keep still. They all seem to be feeling pretty good. Also, they found an ovarian cyst on one of my girls, so it's good I got her fixed. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend them.
Apr 25, 2024 · Thomas ScarboroughI volunteer at Wild Woods Rescue. We brought one of our rescue dogs, Joy, here to be spayed, and the experience was an absolute disaster. Over the phone, they quoted us $230, with optional fees for vaccines and other add-ons. The “add-ons”were mostly things that should be included in a standard spay, like pain meds and an IV. When we picked her up, they pushed unnecessary treatments. Despite declining, they still charged us for flea treatment when Joy didn't even have fleas. They also falsely claimed she had worms, trying to sell us dewormer. This was a blatant lie. Joy had already been dewormed and tested negative before the spay, and subsequent testing confirmed she was worm-free. The worst part? A month later, after Joy was adopted into her forever home in Vermont, she went into heat! The clinic failed to spay her correctly, the theory is that they left behind ovarian remnants. This caused issues for her new family and hurt our rescue's reputation since we assured them she was spayed. When we contacted the clinic for a refund or resolution, they flat-out refused to accept responsibility. They wouldn't honor a diagnosis from another vet and instead suggested we bring Joy back for re-examination-despite knowing she was adopted out of state and cannot travel 20 hours back to Alabama. This was their mistake, and yet they're unwilling to make it right without further costs and inconvenience to us. Our rescue is now telling all of our adopters not to go here, and we would just like everyone else to know the problems that we had so that they can make the right decision.
Jan 09, 2025 · Lehte MahoneyAll of the staff there were polite, informative, and made sure I knew what was going on.My puppy has parvo and the vet did a run down of everything for me.She gave tones of advice and I could tell she really cared. Also the front office lady was a sweet heart and even helped me tweak the price to where I could afford. They also were understanding when I did that make it quite in time because I got lost o. the way there😅They were amazing, would definitely use again:)
