They can be reached via phone at (802) 888-7911 or mobile at +1 802-888-7911. As a "Pet Hospital" category platform, they aim to offer a variety of services and goods for sale related to animal health and well-being.
When considering a veterinary clinic, the **environment** plays a crucial role in both pet and owner comfort. While specific details about the interior decor or waiting room amenities of Lamoille Valley Veterinary Services are not extensively detailed in publicly available information, a professional and clean environment is generally expected of any medical facility. The address suggests a location accessible within the Hyde Park, Vermont area, indicating convenience for local residents. A welcoming reception area, well-maintained examination rooms, and appropriate facilities for various veterinary procedures contribute to a positive experience for pets and their owners. Based on customer feedback, the front office staff are noted for being "sociable and helpful," which suggests a friendly initial impression and a supportive atmosphere upon arrival.
The **services** offered by Lamoille Valley Veterinary Services, typical of a pet hospital, likely encompass a broad spectrum of veterinary care. This generally includes routine check-ups, vaccinations, preventative medicine, diagnostic services, and surgical procedures. One customer review specifically mentions **nail trims**, indicating they offer basic grooming services. More advanced diagnostic tools such as **X-rays** and **ultrasounds** are also mentioned in customer feedback, highlighting their capacity for imaging services essential for diagnosing various conditions, including pregnancy monitoring. Surgical services, specifically **C-sections** for breeding animals, are also discussed in customer experiences, pointing to their involvement in reproductive health services. While the full list of services is not exhaustively detailed, the mention of these specific offerings suggests a comprehensive approach to general veterinary practice, potentially including dental care, nutritional counseling, and emergency services, though confirmation of these would require direct inquiry.
Several **features** of Lamoille Valley Veterinary Services can be gleaned from customer interactions. The presence of a dedicated team, including front office staff, nurses, and veterinarians, is a key feature of their operation. The positive comments about the front office staff being "sociable and helpful" suggest a strong emphasis on customer service at the initial point of contact. The clinic's reputation as a "breeder friendly clinic in the area and surrounding area" suggests they cater to the specific needs of breeders, offering specialized care for breeding animals, which can be a valuable feature for a niche client base. The availability of diagnostic tools like X-ray and ultrasound equipment is another significant feature, allowing for in-house diagnostics and potentially quicker results. The clinic’s ability to perform surgical procedures like C-sections further enhances their service offerings for complex cases.
In terms of **promotional information**, direct advertisements or specific ongoing promotions are not available from the provided text. However, a common promotional strategy for veterinary clinics is through word-of-mouth referrals, which are influenced by customer experiences. Positive reviews, such as the one praising the "awesome amazing job" on nail trims and highlighting the helpful front staff, serve as organic promotion, attracting new clients. The prompt resolution of a "slight miscommunication" regarding charges, as noted by a satisfied customer, also reflects positively on their customer service and problem-solving abilities, which can be a strong promotional point. Highlighting their "breeder friendly" status can also act as a targeted promotional message for a specific demographic of pet owners. While pricing for services like X-rays, ultrasounds, and C-sections is mentioned in a customer review, it's important for potential clients to contact the clinic directly for the most current and accurate pricing information, as costs can vary based on individual circumstances and may be subject to change.
It is important to acknowledge that customer experiences can vary. While some customers express high satisfaction with services such as nail trims and the helpfulness of the front desk staff, others have reported concerns regarding communication and pricing transparency. One customer's experience highlighted a perceived "lack of communication and unprofessionalism" related to scheduling an X-ray during pregnancy and understanding associated costs. This particular review also brought up discrepancies in pricing information and concerns about the demeanor of a specific doctor. These instances, while representing individual experiences, underscore the importance of clear communication between the clinic and pet owners, especially concerning appointment details, diagnostic recommendations, and financial estimates. Potential clients are encouraged to engage directly with Lamoille Valley Veterinary Services to discuss their specific needs and clarify any questions they may have about services, procedures, and costs, ensuring a comfortable and informed experience for both themselves and their beloved pets. The clinic's commitment to customer satisfaction, as evidenced by quickly fixing a billing miscommunication, suggests a willingness to address concerns and strive for positive client relationships.

Apr 17, 2025 · Nicholaus BartlettFeeling very disappointed. Considering this is the only breeder friendly clinic in the area and surrounding area I was very excited to use them. My significant other called to schedule an X-Ray on our doggo to see how many pups she is carrying. The person he spoke to counted her conception date and scheduled us to come in. I called to pay the appointment deposit and reiterated that the appointment was for an X-ray. We arrived at our scheduled time and were brought in to the room, shortly after we were notified she was too early in her pregnancy to preform an X-ray and that we would have to come back in roughly a week to do the X-ray. We were told they’d like to do an ultrasound and it did not matter if we did an ultrasound or X-ray as they both cost 90$. Immediately I was baffled because at the time of booking we were very clear on what we needed and the woman on the phone even counted the days herself. Not only did we just drive 1.5hours and I missed 5 hours of work, but for nothing. We asked for the estimate for the C-Section. While waiting on the estimate we both decided the nurse advised us of what we needed to know so we exited the exam room and advised the clerk at the desk we did not need to speak to the doctor as we would be coming back in a week for the same purpose and we just needed the estimate. The nurse came out and asked us to go back into the exam room to see the doctor, the doctor arrived as we were entering the room and I knew there was not much to discuss at that moment as the nurse answered all our questions and the purpose of our visit was being pushed back so We then asked Dr. Pratt if we would be charged the 90$ for the conversation she was trying to have and her response was “is that a problem!!?” We advised her that we didn’t feel any convo was needed in that moment and in a very unprofessional frustrated manner put the clinics reproductive price guide and the c-section paperwork on the table and walked out of the exam room. There was a huge lack of communication and unprofessionalism. I was very disappointed and feel as if we wasted our time. To be asked “is it a problem?” When spending hard earned money when our economy is rough enough and let’s be honest the cost of pet care is even more outrageous. We got into the car snd looked and the estimate for a c-section ranged between $3600-$7200. It’s safe to say we no longer trust the doctor with our dog based on her attitude and demeanor towards us feeling $90 for a less than 5 minute conversation was not necessary, but now their prices are crazy steep, last but not least, the nurse advised us that an ultrasound and x-ray both cost $90 but in the price guide we received after the fact it clearly stated an x-ray cost between $216-$260. Safe to say we will continue driving our dogs to NJ for all their needs as their current clinic is amazing we were just hoping to find a breeder friendly vet locally. We are not sure if she was just having a bad day or their communication in our appointment was a fluke or if it was based on the color of my partners skin but we won’t chance it with our fur babies. Rant over! Let go and let god!

Feb 10, 2025 · Michael DuffyDr. Pratt and the technicians are always so nice and very pleasant. Dr. Pratt is very thorough which is what you want from a vet. She explains things so you understand and answers questions without making you feel dumb. I appreciate their wonderful service and her honesty. The only concern I have are the receptionists. They seem to be very on edge and unhappy. I've only had the pleasure of having a couple that weren't uptight or didn't seem unhappy. I get the job is a difficult one but when people are coming in, sometimes under extreme stress themselves, it's nice to be greatest with a smile and/or some conversation. I really do appreciate everyone who works there though and appreciate their service.
