Lakeside Veterinary

Lakeside was so wonderful. Unfortunately, my regular vet was dismissive of my concerns for my female german shepherd who had puppies the month prior. I called to get in with my vet first and nothing. Saw the reviews for Lakeside Veterinary and took a chance. Best chance I've taken in a while. They were able to fit my dog in that same afternoon. The front desk staff was very attentive and nice. Several staff members from the back came out on errands and stopped to acknowledge my dog and myself. Once we were called back, we were given excellent care. Vet and tech were extremely attentive, very accomadating, and went above and beyond to make both of us comfortable as we worked to find the best solution for my dog. They LISTENED, they CARED. Exactly what should happen when you are seeking help. Dr. Kogos was so polite and helpful. She took her time, and I never felt rushed. She made sure to exceedingly thorough and look at all options available for my shepherd. When I checked out, the expense was surprisingly reasonable compared to a 5 minute visit at my original vet. Needless to say, I transferred all my pets, including the new litter, to Lakeside Veterinary. They are a small hidden jewel in Lexington that hopefully more people and their pets will find also. Definitely deserves 5 stars!!!

I am so happy I found this jewel of veterinary care in our community. I needed someone who actually had experience with diabetic cats, and did not feel comfortable with my previous vet, providing the care and support needed, both for my boy AND me. I totally found that with Dr Williams and her staff. Each time I've visited, called, text or emailed them, they were quick to respond and answered all my concerns. Dr. Williams possesses a special attribute - she makes you feel like you are the only patient, and goes way above the typical care of any other veterinary service out there. Both my babies are a part of Lakeside now, and I could not be happier. I highly encourage you to check them out yourselves.

Dr Williams was so amazing and compassionate. I had to let my Olive go to sleep today after Dr Williams found some aggressive cancer in her mouth. I am devastated but the care and the way the staff handled this very difficult time with me and olive means so much. Will definitely bring my doggy back for his yearly exams . Thank you all again ❤️

Great staff, great nurses, great Doctor! Prices are very reasonable. Best experience for the vet services, hands down! Apparently our cat had a fungal infection that we could not figure out for a while. Cat became solitary. We called Lakeside, they took us in on the short notice (had someone cancelled) on the same day. Best ever nurse took our cat in, best ever Doctor came and checked cat out. 20 minutes later had all we needed and on our way. With help of antibiotic and prescription ointment 10 days later out cat as good as new. Thank you Lakeside! 5 stars!

The Lakeside Veterinary team are always so incredibly kind and great with my fur babies. They are very affordable compared to other vets in and around the Columbia area. Though it is a bit of a drive from my house and there are a plethora of other vets closer to my house, the quality of care we receive with Lakeside Veterinary makes it well worth the extra time it takes to get there. Since I started using Lakeside Veterinary, I've recommended them to other friends and family who are looking for affordable yet high quality veterinary care.
