My dear friend paid over $100 to have this cat shaved, only to have her come home looking like frankenkitty. I could have chased her around the house with clippers and done better. Shame on whoever thought this was acceptable.

You can contact them at (517) 655-5551 or +1 517-655-5551. While the clinic aims to offer services to ensure the health and well-being of pets, some recent customer reviews provide mixed feedback regarding the quality of certain services and the professionalism of the staff.

Based on the limited information and the nature of a veterinary clinic, the environment at Lakelands Trail Veterinary Clinic would typically include a reception area for clients and their pets, examination rooms where veterinarians can conduct consultations and examinations, and potentially other areas such as a surgical suite, a laboratory for diagnostic tests, and recovery areas for animals that have undergone procedures. The overall goal of the environment in a "Pet Hospital" is usually to be clean, organized, and as comfortable as possible for the animals and their owners. However, the provided reviews do not offer specific details about the physical environment of this particular clinic.

The services offered at Lakelands Trail Veterinary Clinic likely encompass a range of veterinary care, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, spaying and neutering, dental care, treatment for illnesses and injuries, and potentially surgical procedures. One review mentions a cat being shaved, indicating grooming services might be offered, although the outcome described was negative. Another review details a dog scheduled for a spay, confirming that surgical services are at least sometimes available. The clinic also handles appointments for general exams and vaccinations, as indicated by the issues encountered by one customer regarding missed appointments and rescheduling.

However, the customer reviews highlight some potential features that may not be positive. One review describes a poor grooming experience, with the shaved cat looking like "frankenkitty," suggesting a lack of skill or attention to detail in this particular service. Another customer reported initially positive interactions but later experienced rudeness from the staff. This customer also detailed issues with appointment scheduling, including being given the wrong time for one appointment and a miscommunication regarding required vaccinations before a spay procedure, which led to an inconvenience. The most concerning aspect raised in this review was overhearing staff making negative remarks about the customer after calling to reschedule, leading the customer to decide to switch to another veterinary clinic.

These reviews collectively suggest that while Lakelands Trail Veterinary Clinic offers standard "Pet Hospital" services, there may be inconsistencies in the quality of certain services, such as grooming, and potential issues with staff communication and customer service. The negative experiences shared by these reviewers could be important for local users to consider when choosing a veterinary provider for their pets.

No information regarding current promotions at Lakelands Trail Veterinary Clinic is available in the provided text. It is common for veterinary clinics to occasionally offer special deals or packages, particularly for routine services like vaccinations or spay/neuter procedures. In conclusion, Lakelands Trail Veterinary Clinic in Stockbridge, MI, is a local "Pet Hospital" that offers a range of veterinary services, including grooming and surgery (such as spaying). While some initial interactions might be positive, recent customer reviews raise concerns about the quality of grooming services and the professionalism and communication of some staff members. For local users looking for a pet hospital, it would be prudent to consider these recent experiences alongside any potential convenience of the clinic's location. I really liked my first couple of interactions at this vet clinic, but the staff were really rude and made me feel bad. We had a couple of appointments that we missed, I called ahead of time and was given the wrong time for one and the other I did indeed miss because of a medical emergency but I called and rescheduled. Then there was miscommunication about what appointment my dog was having, I sent my husband to drop the dog off for her spay and they called and told me she needed an additional appointment for her shots which we apparently had missed and not realized it so they had him come back and get her. When I called today to reschedule her spay and have another dog in for an exam, they set the phone down and I overheard their conversation about me saying "I recognize that name and it's not good" referring to my name. Considering these are the folks I'm trusting to work with me and my animals...I'm going to be switching somewhere else.

Acorn went in for a laser declaw on Wednesday and was dead by Monday, despite two calls to their office where we were advised to "cut back on pain meds and give tuna water" After an 8 hour MSU ER visit on Sat night/Sun morning there was nothing they could do for him. would not recommend this veterinarian, they should've given acorn antibiotics from the beginning and been more responsive and let us speak with the doctor after hours .

A friend recommended me to this clinic when I needed to get dental work for my Charlie cat, and what I can say about them is that they go the extra mile! Even though they’re typically really busy, you get a very genuine sense that they REALLY care about your animals and NOT THE MONEY!! Which I’m SOOO GRATEFUL FOR! I haven’t seen too many in the medical field (whether dealing with humans or animals) who didn’t seem like they weren’t in it for the money besides this vet clinic, their staff, and my therapist! Oh…and my gf’s old gastro doc…🤷🏼‍♀️ 😂 my point is, that I rarely feel I’m being treated fairly by the majority of doctors and vets. Rarely do you find doctors and veterinarians who’s main concern are actually their patients!! No disrespect to people in the medical field. I just feel if you’re going to become a doctor or vet, your patient should be priority number 1, not the money! 💰 However, some of you Vets and Doctors have such an inflated ego that you can’t see your patients clearly enough to treat them right! ANIMAL CARE CLINIC will go to great lengths to make sure you can afford care for your pet, unlike almost every other vet I’ve ever dealt with! Also, I read someone’s review about this place being unprofessional. On that note, even if this place was “unprofessional,” (which it isn't) I’ve dealt with VERY “professional” vets in the past who have charged me literally 4 times the amount for the exact same process than Animal Care Clinic charged me with the same results! So many vets gouge you! It’s ridiculous and it should be a crime! If you got cussed out by someone who works here, you probably deserved it! 😂 In my experience, no matter how busy they’ve been, no matter how many times I’ve been late to my appointments, they always work with me and have successfully helped my cats again and again. I just took my new kitten in today and they were just as kind and patient as they always are, and completely reasonable! You don’t leave there dumbfounded and broke, and if you have questions they’re very receptive. I wouldn’t say “unprofessional” as much as I would say maybe slightly “unconventional,” but in a very good and refreshing way! 🙏 REAL PEOPLE WITH REAL ANSWERS AND AFFORDABLE SOLUTIONS FOR YOUR PET!! 💯 🐈 🐈‍⬛ 🐇 Much LOVE to Dr. Cindy and to the entire staff!!! 💕 💗 💕
