馃槨馃憥 I drop my 2 yorkies today at 10 o'clock (I made an appointment 5 days ago) and the woman at the cash register said I should be able to pick them up by 1 o'clock. I call to check on them at 1 o'clock, whoever that answer my call said they are not done yet and should be ready to pick up by 3.30 pm. At 2:40 pm someone call me and said that one of my puppy have matted hair and need to be shave. I was so surprised because I drop them off at 10 o'clock and they just got their turn? and when I drop them off they have a thick beautiful hair and not tangled at all. She said she will have to shave up one of my puppy but she won't look naked. At 4 pm. I got a call to pick up my puppies. When I pick them up I couldn't even remember my puppy. She was all shave up all naked except her face area. I paid $80 for the service which they don't even deserved it. I don't know if they are too busy or lazy to untangle my puppy's hair so that they decided to shave it off or what. I wasted 6 hours and have to cancel all my appointment. And I feel sorry for my puppy. I will never ever go back there again.

Welcome to Lake Orion Pet Centre
Lake Orion Pet Centre, located at 46 E Flint St, Lake Orion, MI 48362, USA, operates under the platform category of a Pet Hospital, suggesting a facility that offers various services and potentially sells goods related to animal care. While the term "Pet Hospital" typically encompasses medical services, the available reviews predominantly focus on a grooming experience, providing insights into this aspect of their operations and customer service.
The environment and specific facilities of Lake Orion Pet Centre are not detailed in the provided reviews. However, based on the context of a pet grooming service being offered, it can be inferred that the centre has designated areas for grooming procedures, including washing, drying, and potentially shaving or styling pets' coats. The absence of positive comments regarding the environment suggests that it did not particularly stand out to the reviewers, either positively or negatively, beyond the service received.
The primary service highlighted in the available reviews is pet grooming, specifically for two Yorkshire Terriers. According to one customer, the expectation was for a grooming service that would be completed within a few hours of the 10:00 AM drop-off. However, the actual experience involved a significant delay, with the pick-up time being pushed back multiple times. Ultimately, one of the puppies was shaved almost entirely bare due to allegedly matted hair. The customer expressed surprise at this, stating that the dogs had "thick beautiful hair and not tangled at all" upon arrival. This suggests that the grooming services may include shaving as a solution for perceived matting, and the communication regarding the necessity and extent of this procedure was a point of significant dissatisfaction for the pet owner.
The features of Lake Orion Pet Centre, as perceived through these reviews, include the availability of grooming services that can be scheduled in advance. However, a significant point of concern raised is the communication and handling of the grooming process. The discrepancy between the owner's assessment of their dog's coat condition and the groomer's decision to shave the dog, along with the perceived lack of effort to untangle the hair, raises questions about the thoroughness and care taken during grooming appointments. The delay in service completion also suggests potential issues with scheduling or workflow management within the centre.
The negative reviews highlight several critical issues. One customer details a frustrating experience involving a significant delay in the grooming service, a lack of clear communication about the changing pick-up times, and the unexpected and drastic shaving of one of their Yorkshire Terriers. The owner expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the final result, stating they could "not even remember my puppy" due to the extent of the shave and feeling the $80 charge was undeserved. They also mention hearing their dog crying in the back, raising concerns about the pet's well-being during the process. This customer explicitly stated they would "never ever go back there again."
Another reviewer echoed the negative sentiment regarding the shaving of their Yorkie, questioning why detangling wasn't attempted during a bath. They described the outcome as "terrible" and "awful," noting that their dog appeared sad and uncomfortable after the experience. This customer also expressed concern about their dog crying and reported the dog shaking and itching afterwards, further indicating a negative experience. The strong language used, including threats of reporting the centre, underscores the extreme dissatisfaction of this pet owner.
Promotional information is entirely absent from the provided reviews. There is no mention of any discounts, special offers, or bundled services. The focus of the feedback is solely on a negative grooming experience and the associated customer service issues.
In conclusion, the available information regarding Lake Orion Pet Centre, while categorized as a Pet Hospital, primarily details negative experiences with their grooming services. Customers have reported significant delays, poor communication regarding the grooming process, and what they perceived as unnecessary and drastic shaving of their pets, resulting in considerable distress for both the animals and their owners. These reviews raise serious concerns about the quality of the grooming services and the customer service provided at Lake Orion Pet Centre. Potential local users considering this facility for pet grooming should carefully weigh these recent negative experiences. Due to the absence of any positive feedback or information about other services typically offered by a Pet Hospital, a comprehensive assessment of the overall facility is not possible based solely on this data. It would be prudent for prospective clients to seek additional reviews or information before entrusting their pets to Lake Orion Pet Centre.
