Lake Hartwell Veterinary Clinic

First time going here, picked up a stray kitten in the middle of the road that was hit by a car definitely needed to be put to sleep, the two front legs were broken as well as gashes on both legs and body. At first was charged full price, but after talking to the owner of the hospital and explaining I do Rescue and have worked in the Animal Hospital field for over 20 years was given a rescue discount. I wasn’t expecting it to be free, but being a good Samaritan and doing the right thing for the animal, it would definitely help being given a discount, especially since I was the only one who stopped to pick it up. She was very nice and understood and was glad I brought the kitten in.

I can't say enough about this place and group of People. They have helped me so much and the community by allowing me to bring the strays from my neighborhood to get fixed with the certificates sold or provided by the Hart County Humane Society for only $25 per cat. No extra cost except for a small fee for medication for after surgery so far I was able to capture all of the females so no unwanted litters this summer at my house. And the males are next... This amazing human beings already booked me for appointments. But let me tell you my experience at this Vet clinic. Everytime I showed up they showed me and this fur babies so much care and compassion. Every person that was there to drop off their animals to get fixed every single one of them was using a certificate so they (the clinic/employees) were not making any money doing this but they don't make you feel bad or weird about it. They treat you just like they do their regular paying costumers so I decided to switched all my pets here and when I took my dog to get seen for skin allergies they were just as friendly, kind and caring. I highly recommend this vet clinic and all their staff. I been to so many places in different states because of being an army family, we went all over the place and I never been to a vet where everyone was so nice and kind and willing to help. Not to mention they are very involved with the local shelters and rescues. Check them out on their Facebook page. They are just as beautiful and friend as they look in their pictures. You can tell they love animals so your fur babies and strays will be care for at this place with no judgment! The prices are very fair too. In my opinion they got lower rates than my other vet in Royston. I really wish I knew of them sooner! But I'm just glad I have found the perfect vet for my pets! Thank you " Lake Hartwell Veterinary Clinic" not to be confused with the other vet with similar name. Make sure it is the "Lake" one. But Thank you very much for everything you do for the community. I am convinced that your team are angel!!!🤗💕 FYI (The certificates are sold at the shelters and at the Hart County chamber of commerce) I would like to add that . I called every other vet on the flier and everyone told me to call the other places because they were booked for months. You do have to wait to bring them in here but in my opinion the wait is worth it for this place. Best vet clinic in Hart County! 🙌

The absolute best VET EVER we have a 20 year old cat they are incredible we love them and there is no where else in Georgia we have ever been that cares so much!

We are a family with oodles of goldendoodles. Dr.Terry has been nothing but honest, attentive and thorough when it comes to our pups. I am beyond thankful to have their clinic in our town. Her staff is professional and friendly making my doods feel more at ease with each visit. It is so important to have a vet that listens to my concerns and to help me give my pups the best life they can live. I highly recommend Dr. Terry and her staff!

Hands down the best vet clinic around. I've gone to them for YEARS! Dr. Teri has always been up front and honest about treatment plans and pricing. She also has held my hand while I've said bye to 5 of my senior animals over the years. Her staff is by far the best I've ever dealt with (shout out to my girl Shay!) I recommend them to everyone I know with animals, and I will do that as long as they're around! ❤️
