A significant feature of Kish Veterinary Services, as highlighted by customer testimonials, is the presence of "friendly staff & knowledgeable Veterinarians!" This indicates a strong emphasis on both professional expertise and client-centric service. The veterinarians, such as Dr. Stufft and Dr. Maggie, are specifically commended for their diagnostic acumen and compassionate care. One compelling review illustrates Dr. Stufft's ability to correctly diagnose a cat that a specialist elsewhere had misdiagnosed, saving the owner thousands of dollars and providing "peace of mind." This speaks to the clinic's capability for accurate and cost-effective diagnosis, a highly valued attribute for pet owners.
The clinic's approach to sensitive situations is also a notable feature. In the case of a pet needing euthanasia, Dr. Maggie and the staff were described as "kind and caring in his last hours of life," and Dr. Maggie "went above and beyond to comfort and explain the situation to my 6 year old son at the death of his first pet." This level of empathy and support during difficult times demonstrates a deep understanding of the emotional bond between pets and their families, setting a high standard for compassionate care.
From a financial perspective, Kish Veterinary Services is noted for having "reasonable" prices and accepting "Care Credit for help paying for their services." Care Credit is a popular financing option that allows pet owners to manage healthcare costs through flexible payment plans, making essential veterinary care more accessible. The mention of earning "rewards" through this payment method further adds to its appeal. This financial flexibility is a key feature for many clients who may face unexpected or significant veterinary expenses.
While specific promotional campaigns are not detailed, the information suggests several ways Kish Veterinary Services promotes its practice:
- Reputation and Word-of-Mouth: The numerous positive testimonials, particularly those highlighting significant savings or exceptional compassionate care, serve as powerful organic promotion. Satisfied clients are likely to recommend the clinic, as indicated by the "would highly recommend" statement.
- Acceptance of Care Credit: Actively promoting the acceptance of Care Credit is a significant promotional point, as it directly addresses a common concern for pet owners regarding the cost of veterinary care. This makes their services more accessible to a broader client base.
- Online Presence and Education: As a modern veterinary practice, Kish Veterinary Services likely maintains an online presence, such as a website, which would detail their services, staff, and provide valuable pet health resources (e.g., "Pet Food Recalls" and a "Pet Library" mentioned on their website). This online information helps educate potential clients and showcases their expertise.
- Community Focus: Being a local, full-service animal hospital, their engagement with the Lewistown community is inherent. Providing consistent, high-quality care naturally builds a strong local reputation.
In conclusion, Kish Veterinary Services LLC in Lewistown, PA, stands out as a "Pet Hospital" that offers comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care. Feb 27, 2025 · TriciaAll around great service with exceptional care and professionalism. When a vet in State College wanted to send my cat to a specialist in Pittsburgh for thousands of dollars, Dr. Stufft believed my cat to be misdiagnosed. Dr. Stufft was correct, and provided excellent care, saving me thousands of dollars, and giving back my peace of mind. The cat in question has no health issues 3 months later. With another cat who needed to be put down, Dr. Maggie and the rest of the staff were kind and caring in his last hours of life. Dr. Maggie also went above and beyond to comfort and explain the situation to my 6 year old son at the death of his first pet. Excellent service all around for all 3 (now 2) of my pets, would highly recommend.
Jun 02, 2024 · Justice MillsMade an appointment 2 weeks out (earliest available) to get flea medication proscribed, while waiting in the room the vet took two walk in dogs without appointments (non-emergency) and after an hour past the appointment time I left. What’s the point of taking appointments if you’re gonna prioritize walk ins, I waited two weeks for an appointment, it’s unacceptable.
Nov 22, 2024 · Collin BennettI waited 50 minutes for my dog's check up. They took in 2 dogs ahead of me that didn't have appointments that day. I'll never go there again.
