My daughters pet cat had passed in a house fire, and we had Kingston Vet Hospital take care of her remains for cremation. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the process very quick, despite bad weather. My family and I appreciate them so much!

I've never had any problems going here before until recently, Dr. Jones saved my cat's life when he had a urinary blockage and I had the highest opinion of her and this office. About a year ago my boyfriend took our 2 cats in for check ups (including the one who previously had the blockage) and the way our cats were handled made him uncomfortable. Our one cat has anxiety with being handled, which we've expressed every visit, and the vet tech present was rough with not only him but my boyfriend's cat as well, to the point where both cats were in severe distress. His review is on here as well if you want to read that for context. When I got home that evening both of our cats were still shaking, scared, and wouldn't even eat. I called the office three separate times afterwards and left messages for the vet who was there that day to talk to them and try to figure out what happened and hear their side of the story so we could figure out how to solve this. My boyfriend said he wouldn't take our cats back because we were devastated with how they reacted, but I trusted Dr. Jones and called this morning to try and get my cat in because he was having urinary issues again. I planned to talk to her after the appointment about the prior situation as well because I never received a response to my messages. I showed up this morning at 11, was taken back into an exam room by Dr. Jones, and was told because of the review my boyfriend left that she wouldn't help my cat. She said my boyfriend was nasty to them, that they couldn't have people talking bad about them, and she didn't want to deal with anything he had a hand in. To say I'm heartbroken is an understatement. I tried so hard to reach out prior to solve this issue, was ignored, and drove 25 minutes just to be told my cat wasn't going to get help. I was never rude or nasty, I've always deeply appreciated the work this clinic does, but I'm unsure how to move on from this and feel uneasy.

If I could give 0 stars I would, butchered my Dobermans ears. Went it to have it fixed and they wanted $150 to fix stitches less than 24 hours old. Now sitting at emergency clinic trying to save his ears. Because there’s more wrong than just stitches popping out 😡

First off I have had problems with this vet. They don’t know anything! My Doberman has lumps all over her they say it’s fatty tissue but other vets say it’s cancer also did her ears 10 years ago and they didn’t stand took another dog there for ears they stand! They wanted to keep her over the weekend to get her hydrated it was going to be over 500 dollars if she stayed but I can do all the medics my self and hook her to an iv at home they wouldn’t let me but still charged me 480 dollars and she didn’t stay! Worst place around to take your pet! In Lancaster at least they are honest when your animal is suffering with cancer and her bladder starts to fail! The picture shows the lumps that other vets have said it’s cancer as Kingston says fatty tissue!
