Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic

Pets are an important part of our lives and to make sure they remain healthy and remain with us for as long as possible, they need to have regular visits to a veterinarian. The local vet that I have utilized most frequently for my dog’s good health, and for boarding them when I’m going out of town, is Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic. Located across from Katy’s Taylor High School, Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic is a large clinic ready to assist with animal vaccinations, surgeries, boarding, and more. They have limited seating in the lobby, but it shouldn’t be an issue since they generally get people and their pets in and out in a short time. The folks at the counter are ready to assist and get you on your way as quickly as possible. I have had good success with the care my dogs have received at this clinic over the years. I tend to use Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic mostly for boarding, preferring to get shots at other places where the prices are usually lower. I’m not going to say that Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic offers the lowest prices in town because they do not. But they do offer quality, and I feel good when I take my dogs here. Pets need constant care and Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic is a very good option for the concerned pet parent who wants to make sure their dog, cat, or other animal is around for as long as possible. The fact that I am still bringing my dogs here says much about the quality and service and I will continue to utilize Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic for as long as my four- legged pals are in need to care.

I do not recommend this clinic at all. We have been going here for years and every time there seems to be something. It always seems you will deal with the same 2 things. Rude people that can't be bothered to give you the time of day, and a slew of things to bleed you of every penny they can. When I called them to inform them that I was wildly disappointed with the care and service that we have received over the last 5 years and told them that we are changing vets for good, there was not even a "sorry" or "what can we do" nothing.... I was asked if I wanted the vet records transfered and then told to have a good day. This place couldn't care less about you or your animals. Do not come here. I will not be reccomemding this vet to anyone for any reason.

The front desk handled my check in very poorly. The vet and tech were super nice and helpful. Someone at the front desk named Amanda or something was very rude. I tried to tell her my name and when she couldn't find me. I spelled my name out. Still couldn't find me. She asked for my phone number. I said my phone number. Still couldn't find me. I asked her if I could wrote it down for her because there seemed to possibly be a language barrier. She smiled and very condescendingly said no. I knew I had an appointment, but she just stared at me as if there was nothing else she could do. Thankfully, her coworkers stepped in to help and found my appointment. I don't have a problem if her English wasn't the best but it was the way she didn't apologize or anything about possibly not understanding me and no request for me to have patience that made it seem she was just irritated with having to help and wanted to give me a hard time. Also their prices are high. I've never had to pay so much for presriptions at the clinic I usually go to. Unfortunately, they were closed and we had a slight emergency. Hopefully I never have to return.

Brought my cat here for international pet health certificates to move to the UK and the staff was incredibly accommodating, kind, took time to explain everything to me, and handled everything perfectly and professionally. It was a very stressful process and they made it quick, easy, and painless as possible. I loved the staff so much that my whole family is transferring to this vet. I am here for a checkup with my dog now and they are just as amazing with him (and he is not a people person!). They are kind, clearly very caring and invested in your furry family member, take time to explain everything to ease any concern- the experience has just been perfect. Couldn’t recommend this place more! And the health certificate was the best price in the Houston area :) happy accident we found these amazing people. We specifically have been dealing with Dr. Coatney and Sarah and they are exceptional! Literally brings tears to my eyes how much they care about our pets.

Taking my dog, Gumbo, to the vet has always been a stressful experience, mostly because he really doesn’t like it. He growls, he squirms, and generally makes it clear he’d rather be anywhere else. But Dr. Coatney and their team handled him like absolute pros. They got all his shots done and even expressed his anal sacs effortlessly (which, if you know, you know what a relief that is). Since our visit, Gumbo has completely stopped scooting and scratching, and honestly, it has lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. I can’t overstate how grateful I am for the care and patience they showed him. I am not a paid actor—just a very relieved dog owner who has found their go-to vet for as long as I live in Katy, TX. Highly recommend!
