Kinetic Veterinary Specialists

A few different vets recommended this place for our 10 year old beagle, Max, who tore his ACL and partially tore his meniscus. They did an excellent job with TPLO surgery, and the incision and surgical site was also very minimally invasive due to their techniques using specialized equipment and a scope. The entire incision was about 1.5 inches. Max was up and walking around after just a few days, and after just a few weeks he has been easing into using his leg. This type of recovery typically takes a few months. He also displayed no distress, which means he didn't have much pain or discomfort during his recovery. He is usually very expressive and dramatic about pain (as beagles usually are lol). He never tried to lick or open his wound site, and he's been pretty happy since the procedure! The team was also very sweet and caring with regards to the preop and postop care. We are lucky to have Kinetic Veterinary Specialists in Clermont!

Our experience with Kinetic has been exceptional! We first started seeing them in April 2024 when our 2.5 year old Dobie Russo got diagnosed with Wobblers. Every step of the way they’ve been so helpful, knowledgeable, compassionate. No matter what staff member we talk to all of them know our pup and are familiar with his case. We’ve never felt rushed, and have had sessions with doctor Herman where he sat with us for close to an hour talking through imaging, treatment, questions etc. This is not your average vet specialist. The facility feels state of the art, the staff are friendly and our pup LOVES going there to see everyone. Russo just had his surgery 3 weeks ago which was a success and we will continue with therapy there (they have tons of rehab and therapies on site). Any other vet that we’ve talked to has heard of Dr. Herman and speaks highly of his work and modern approach and knowledge base. If you’re in need of a vet specialist I highly recommend Kinetic vets as your top choice!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Eric Herman and his expert staff... He performed a TPLO surgery on my performance dog, Tippy Toes. We are 6 weeks post op and she is doing beautifully. He is knowledgeable, caring and detail oriented. I highly recommend Dr Herman to anyone looking for a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon!

Our little guy Rocco had TPLO surgery and Dr. Herman was beyond exceptional. He explained everything to us in detail and we felt so comfortable with the whole process. Went to see Dr. Herman who was referred by our vet in our new city of Ocala Florida. Dr. Herman spent one hour explaining the TPLO surgery and recovery. Three weeks ago he operated on Jett our 7 year old Cavachon. In two days Jett was walking, using the surgical leg to stand on to urinate and you could tell he was in less pain than before the surgery. I am convinced Dr. Herman and his staff are miracle workers. The clinic is immaculate, the staff is compassionate and knowledgeable, and Dr. Herman is beyond wonderful. We drove two hours every week to see this great staff for physical therapy. You won't be disappointed in any way. If you love your pet, and you need orthopedic assistance, do not go anywhere else!!!!
