Took our cat here yesterday for the first time because her previous owner had established her care here. We were very impressed with the staff and veterinarian. They were very kind and caring with her and made sure to address all of our concerns. My wife asked if they could show us how to clip her claws, as she has been getting at our furniture a little bit. She went ahead and clipped all of her claws for us in probably two minutes. It was clear to us that everyone here genuinely cares about animals. Will definitely be continuing her care here!

Kindred Spirit Introduce
Kindred Spirit, located at 1556 W Trindle Rd, Carlisle, PA 17015, is a local Pet Hospital offering veterinary care services. You can reach them at (717) 243-8706 or +1 717-243-8706. As a "Pet Hospital" serving the Carlisle area, they aim to provide medical care and support for your pets.
Based on available customer feedback, experiences appear to vary. One customer shared a positive first impression, highlighting the kindness and care shown by the staff and veterinarian towards their cat. They specifically mentioned the team's willingness to address concerns and even provide practical demonstrations, suggesting a caring and helpful environment where the well-being of animals is a priority.
However, another review presented a contrasting experience. This individual, a truck driver needing an appointment for their dog with worms and having a laboratory report from their primary vet in another city, reported being unable to secure an appointment. This suggests that Kindred Spirit may have specific policies regarding new patients or the transfer of care, which could limit accessibility in certain situations.
As a local Pet Hospital, Kindred Spirit likely offers a range of veterinary services, which could include routine check-ups, vaccinations, diagnostics, treatment for illnesses and injuries, and potentially surgical procedures. The positive review indicates a caring and attentive staff. However, prospective clients may want to inquire about their appointment policies and the process for establishing care, especially if they have unique circumstances or are transferring from another veterinary practice. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the environment, specific services, and any current features or promotions, contacting Kindred Spirit directly is recommended.

Apr 02, 2025 · Michael StoufferNot helpful. I tried to make an appointment. Because I'm a truck driver and have a vet in a different city they wouldn't take me. My dog has worms and my primary vet would have sent over a laboratory report. I guess this place is too important for people who just need help.
Feb 10, 2025 · Geoff RoweThey are awesome, amazing people. She is exceptionally compassionate not just to the pets but the people too. I just relocated to the area...my dog was on palliative care, but could not delay the move. She did really well, but the time came to let go, for us both. Im new to the area, passed by Kindred Spirit on my weekend drive about, but could not find online, tried several vets close to us but each one refused saying no openings for months in advance. I was so glad when i came across kindred spirit recognizing it, and they accepted us immediately. And she didn't try to price gouge, or sell a "package" they have 3 options and i found one that fit with how i was raised...(No elaborate) stuff. But a humane, kind passing for my girl. I could not have wished for a more perfect replacement for our vet. Thank you Kindred Spirit for taking us in.
Mar 12, 2024 · Stephanie WaltonDr Do has taken care of my fur babies 30 years now...I APPRECIATE HER AND HER STAFF IMMENSELY, especially at the toughest time,Dr Do steps up w compassion as a caregiver to our pets, NOT their Dr. Thank you for being THE ONLY VET I KNOW of who euthanize a PATIENT IF HERS at no charge... Shows WHY YOU ARE IN THIS FIELD!❤️🤎
Aug 15, 2024 · Michael HaggertyMy 17 year old kitty took a sudden turn for the worse and I knew it was time for him to get some peace. I called several places who either were booked for weeks, couldn't take him since he wasn't a patient or would take him but charge a phenomenal fee. My friend talked her vet's office (Kindred Spirit) about my situation (my vet closed down over COVID) and they were able to see him immediately. I have never experienced such a caring Doctor and staff. It was if my pet was theirs too and they felt my pain. Dr. Do explained everything she found Joey to be experiencing. She also explained everything she was doing to put him out of his discomfort. She was soft spoken, compassionate and just a beautiful, caring person. I cannot express how thankful I am for people like them. Oh and they even sent me a Sympathy card! God Bless You All!
