Stay away from this place I heard great things about this vet and decided to take my cat here, we’ve had three appointments total since adopting. We saw Dr Motameds for the first two appointments. The first time I went I left feeling as though our concerns were brushed over. The second time I came in with concern of a UTI, when the doctor came in she didn’t examine at all. She did not listen to his heart, feel his stomach or offer any test to actually see if he did have a uti. Although at the end of appointment stated he had a heart murmur (even though she didn’t listen) and I had to push to get more information. This doctor apparently wrote that he was hard to mange at the appointment— even though he was not. My cat doesn’t bite, scratch or hiss. It seems like they wanted the easy way out of appointment and just wanted the exam fee. My cat ended up having an issue with an anxiety medication she did prescribe had to go back only two days later. My significant other brought him to see a different doctor who told us 10 mg was too high of a dose and that he in fact does NOT have a heart murmur. She also was very contradicting to the other doctor we saw. I was not able to go to appointment and FaceTimed in for part of appointment. I reached out to the vet later that night to express my annoyance and concern with contradicting information to find out that Dr motameds never documented heart murmur and wrote that she examined my cat, clearly they are giving clients and wiring down incorrect information in medical records. The owner Dr rosenbaltt basically told me she would trust the mother doctor over me and did not seem to understand the wrong doing on there end.

When considering any veterinary facility, understanding its environment is key to setting expectations. While specific details about the interior design or waiting area aesthetics of Kindness Animal Hospital are not readily available through general information, pet hospitals typically strive to create a welcoming and calming atmosphere for both pets and their owners. This often includes clean, well-lit spaces, separate waiting areas for cats and dogs to minimize stress, and examination rooms designed for comfort and efficiency. A well-maintained facility often indicates a commitment to hygiene and patient well-being, which are paramount in a veterinary setting. The environment at Kindness Animal Hospital would likely reflect these industry standards, aiming to reduce anxiety for animals during their visit and provide a comfortable experience for their human companions.

Kindness Animal Hospital offers a variety of services typical of a full-service pet hospital. These services generally encompass preventive care, diagnostics, medical treatments, and surgical procedures. Common preventive services would include routine wellness exams, vaccinations tailored to a pet’s lifestyle and risk factors, parasite prevention and control, and nutritional counseling. Diagnostic capabilities often involve in-house laboratory testing for blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams, as well as imaging services like X-rays to help diagnose internal conditions. Medical treatments cover a wide array of ailments, from common infections and dermatological issues to managing chronic diseases. Surgical services would likely include routine procedures such as spaying and neutering, as well as more complex soft tissue surgeries. Additionally, veterinary hospitals often provide dental care, including cleanings and extractions, which are crucial for a pet's overall health. While the full spectrum of services offered by Kindness Animal Hospital is not explicitly detailed, their operation as a "Pet Hospital" category suggests a comprehensive approach to veterinary medicine, addressing both acute and chronic health concerns.

Beyond the standard offerings, specific features often distinguish one veterinary practice from another. While the available information doesn't highlight unique, proprietary features, a pet hospital like Kindness Animal Hospital would likely emphasize aspects such as personalized care plans, a focus on client education, and potentially specialized equipment or areas of expertise. For instance, some practices might have advanced dental radiography, dedicated surgical suites, or offer services like acupuncture or behavioral consultations. The approach to patient care, the doctor-client communication style, and the overall philosophy of the practice contribute significantly to its unique features. A commitment to transparency in pricing, as mentioned in one review, can also be a significant feature that builds trust with pet owners. This focus on clear communication about costs is a valuable asset in the veterinary field, where unexpected expenses can be a concern for many families.

When it comes to promotional information, veterinary practices often utilize various strategies to attract and retain clients. This can include new client specials, discounted initial exams, or packages for puppy and kitten wellness. Loyalty programs, seasonal promotions for vaccinations or dental cleanings, and educational workshops for pet owners are also common. While no specific promotional offers from Kindness Animal Hospital are detailed in the provided information, their commitment to price transparency, as highlighted by a satisfied customer, acts as a form of positive promotion in itself. Recommendations from existing clients, often driven by positive experiences and perceived value, are incredibly powerful in the veterinary sector. Practices often leverage online presence, social media, and community involvement to disseminate information about their services and any ongoing promotions. A welcoming staff and efficient scheduling, though not directly promotional, significantly enhance the client experience and can lead to positive word-of-mouth referrals.

Customer reviews offer valuable insights into the real-world experiences of pet owners at Kindness Animal Hospital. One review highlights a very positive experience, particularly praising their responsiveness and care during a puppy's spaying procedure, and commending their price transparency. This indicates a strong positive aspect of their service, especially concerning surgical care and financial clarity. The reviewer's strong recommendation suggests that for some clients, Kindness Animal Hospital provides excellent service, particularly in sensitive situations like post-operative care.

However, another review presents significant concerns. This client reported issues with perceived rushed appointments, lack of thorough examination by one specific veterinarian (Dr. Motameds), and contradictory information regarding a heart murmur and medication dosage from different doctors within the same practice. The reviewer also expressed frustration with inaccurate documentation in medical records and the owner, Dr. Rosenbaltt's, response to their concerns. This feedback points to potential areas for improvement in consistency of care, internal communication, and handling client complaints. It underscores the importance of clear and accurate medical record-keeping and consistent diagnostic approaches among different veterinary professionals within a single practice. While one review points to a highly satisfactory experience, particularly concerning a surgical procedure and communication regarding pricing, the other highlights significant issues related to diagnostic thoroughness, consistency of medical advice, and patient management documentation. This mixed feedback suggests that while the hospital may excel in certain areas, there might be inconsistencies in service delivery or communication depending on the specific veterinarian and the nature of the visit.

In conclusion, Kindness Animal Hospital in Waltham, MA, operating as a "Pet Hospital," strives to be a comprehensive veterinary care provider. They offer a range of essential services aimed at maintaining the health and well-being of pets. The hospital appears to prioritize transparent pricing, which is a significant benefit for pet owners. While some clients have reported highly positive experiences, particularly regarding surgical care and responsiveness, other feedback indicates areas where consistency in examinations, internal communication, and record-keeping could be strengthened. As with any service provider, prospective clients may wish to consider a consultation or initial visit to assess if the environment and approach align with their expectations for their pet's care.

Kindness animal hospital is wonderful! I just got my puppy spayed there and they have been responsive & even when I was worried they made time to check up on my puppy! Adorable and price transparent as well, I 100% recommend them, especially after going to other vets and not having the best experience.

Outstanding and down to earth veterinary services. Took my kittens in for spaying and one had a tumor that was removed . Fortunately it was not cancerous. The entire staff was informative, helpful and practical. In addition I could reach the doc via email and text. My initial experience was fantastic !

The vet and teach were perfectly nice and I really wanted to like this place but there were some things that I was really unhappy with for my cat. -the doors were not sound insulated at all so there were constant sounds of large (and small) dogs loud barking. -there’s not a separate room for cats and dogs so the smells were also scary for her -the door to another area was open sometimes (and sometimes with a dog in that room) while my cat was on the table -the vet really didn’t handle my senior cat on her terms. I don’t feel that they cared much that she was scared. -the urgent prescription that she needed, I bought that same day and then four days later I get another notification to buy the prescription. Turns out after calling Wedgwood, the prescription I bought was cancelled without notification to me because they had input an incorrect one. They should have called me to let me know because that was four extra days that she didn’t have her medicine! Honestly shocked she didn’t poop herself on the table.

My dog needed surgery so she could walk again. It's been about 4 months since I could take her for walks because of her limp and bad ACL. She didn't even want to go for a walk. Yesterday we took her for her first walk and we both had tears in our eyes at how well she did. She already begs at her leash again to go for a walk. Thank you sooooooooo much!
