We are very blessed to have found Dr. Freeman and Kind Veterinary Care Center. She came highly recommended so we took the hour+ trip for our puppy's first visit. It was incredible! As first time dog owners we had a lot of questions and concerns. Dr. Freeman took the time to answer all of our questions - we felt like our dog was her only visit of the day! The kindness and love she showed to our puppy, along with her incredible knowledge guarantees Kind Vet is the only place we would go. Couldn't be happier!

KIND Veterinary Care Center Introduce

KIND Veterinary Care Center, located at 1990 Washington Valley Rd STE 6, Martinsville, NJ 08836, USA, aims to provide veterinary care services within the ‘Pet Hospital’ category to the local community. Led by Dr. Freeman, the center has received commendation for the doctor’s expertise, kindness, and thoroughness in addressing pet health concerns. The positive aspects highlighted by some pet owners include Dr. Freeman’s exceptional knowledge, caring bedside manner, and the time she dedicates to answering questions and ensuring owners feel well-informed about their pet’s care.

One customer shared a particularly positive experience, stating they traveled over an hour for their puppy’s first visit based on a strong recommendation. They were impressed by the time Dr. Freeman took to address their numerous questions as first-time dog owners, making them feel as though their puppy was her sole focus for the day. The reviewer specifically mentioned the kindness and love shown to their puppy, coupled with Dr. Freeman’s “incredible knowledge,” leading them to conclude that KIND Veterinary Care Center would be their exclusive choice for veterinary care. This anecdote underscores the potential for a positive and comprehensive experience with Dr. Freeman’s veterinary services.

Dr. Freeman is described by another reviewer as both “professional and very competent” and possessing a “caring bedside manner.” This suggests that her clinical skills are complemented by a compassionate approach to patient care, which is a crucial aspect for many pet owners seeking veterinary services. The combination of expertise and empathy can contribute significantly to a positive and reassuring experience during veterinary visits.

However, alongside the positive feedback regarding Dr. Freeman’s clinical abilities, a significant concern has been raised regarding the administrative aspects of the practice, specifically the office management and the respect shown to clients, particularly by the front desk staff. Multiple instances of prolonged wait times, even for pre-scheduled appointments, have been reported. One reviewer noted that they seemed to “ALWAYS be waiting over 40 minutes” for nail trimming appointments scheduled weeks in advance, even after calling ahead to inquire about punctuality. This suggests a recurring issue with appointment scheduling and management that impacts the client experience.

Furthermore, the attitude of the front desk staff has been a point of criticism. The reviewer who experienced consistent delays mentioned that the front desk made it clear they “really don’t care that you are waiting.” This lack of empathy and communication can be frustrating for clients, especially when they have adhered to their scheduled appointment times. Effective communication and a customer-centric approach from administrative staff are vital in any service-oriented business, including veterinary practices, as they often form the first and last impression for clients.

Another concerning experience involved a client who waited for 45 minutes in the parking lot with their three large dogs after their scheduled appointment time. When they finally received a call 55 minutes past their appointment, the message from the front desk reportedly lacked an apology and simply stated that they were moving on to other patients. This level of disregard for clients’ time and the absence of a service-oriented response raises significant questions about the practice’s operational efficiency and client relations. The reviewer, who has owned a healthcare practice for 40 years, emphasized that these issues appeared to be the norm rather than isolated incidents at KIND Veterinary Care Center.

Despite their positive opinion of Dr. Freeman’s veterinary skills, the recurring issues with office management and client communication led one reviewer to seek veterinary care elsewhere. They also mentioned being informed that it was Dr. Freeman’s policy for only her technicians to call patients back, which they found to be a “HORRIBLE” policy. This lack of direct communication with the veterinarian, even when requested, could be a point of concern for pet owners who value direct interaction with the doctor overseeing their pet’s care.

The address for KIND Veterinary Care Center is 1990 Washington Valley Rd STE 6, Martinsville, NJ 08836, USA, and they can be contacted by phone at (732) 484-1743 or +1 732-484-1743. For local users in Martinsville and the surrounding areas seeking a ‘Pet Hospital,’ KIND Veterinary Care Center presents a mixed picture based on the available reviews. While Dr. Freeman is highly regarded for her veterinary expertise, compassion, and thoroughness, significant concerns have been raised regarding the efficiency of the office management, long wait times, and the customer service provided by the front desk staff.

The provided information does not include any details about the environment of the clinic beyond the interactions with the staff and doctor. There is no mention of the physical facilities, equipment, or the overall ambiance of the waiting or examination rooms. Similarly, specific services offered beyond general veterinary care and nail trimming are not detailed in the reviews. Information regarding emergency services, specialized treatments, or preventative care plans is absent. Furthermore, no promotional information, such as discounts for new clients or seasonal offers, is mentioned in the provided text.

In conclusion, KIND Veterinary Care Center, under the care of Dr. Freeman, has the potential to be a valuable resource for pet owners in Martinsville, NJ, seeking knowledgeable and compassionate veterinary care. Dr. Freeman’s expertise and caring approach have been positively highlighted by some clients. However, prospective clients should be aware of the reported issues concerning office management, including frequent and prolonged wait times and concerns about the customer service provided by the front desk. These administrative challenges appear to be a significant drawback for some pet owners, leading at least one to seek alternative veterinary care despite their positive impression of Dr. Freeman’s clinical skills. Potential clients may wish to inquire about the practice’s policies regarding appointment scheduling, wait times, and communication before making a decision.

Dr. Freeman is both professional and very competent and has a caring beside manor. The problem is how the office is run and respect shown to their clients especially by the front desk. I understand that on occasion you can run late. These appointments were scheduled weeks in advance with a vet tech to cut the dogs nails. We seem to ALWAYS be waiting over 40 minuets even after calling ahead to see if they are running on tome. It's ridiculous (happened last 4 appointments) and the Front Desk makes it clear that they really don't care that you are waiting. I have owned a health care practice for 40 years and understand things happen in a practice, but this is the Norm at Kind not the exception. We left after 45 mins sitting in the parking lot with 3 Dogue de Bordeuaux's (big dogs). after our scheduled appointment. When we finally received a call from the front desk 55 mins after appointment they were not offering an apology but a very matter of fact message stating that they were going to move on with other patients. There are plenty of competent Vets that respect your time and know how to run a professional practice. Unfortunately as much as I like Dr. Freeman, I will seek another Vet that knows how to run a business. I was told when I asked to speak to Dr. Freeman that its her policy that she only have her tech's call patients back. HORRIBLE

Dr. Freeman is simply one of the most incredible people I have ever met. I travel over an hour to see Dr. Freeman and her staff because of the level of care she provides for my Black Labrador, Hank. Over the past few years, Hank has battled a very serious virus, a torn ACL, and serious allergies. Dr. Freeman provided the utmost care and compassion while diagnosing and treating him and was available whenever I had a question or a concern. Having a Veterinarian that loves your pet as much as you is nearly impossible to find, but we did. Some people are just born to do the job they do and Dr. Andrea Freeman was born to be a Veterinarian. Hank and my family are blessed to have found her. She truly is a life-saver!

Dr. Freeman is very knowledgeable, and went above and beyond her scope of practice for Jekyll!! My dog loved her!! He couldn’t wait to see her no matter what he was going through. She is professional, reliable, and personable. Also passionate about what she does. She actually cares about the animals. She is family and I would never bring my dog to another veterinarian! I don’t usually leave reviews. But I would recommend Dr. Freeman to anyone!!!

I seriously have been blessed to find this place and this incredible team! I recently moved back to the area, and by chance found this new place opening and thank god! Because my little boy had a stint of every issue possible for a good couple of weeks! I can’t even express my gratitude for the care, friendliness, helpfulness and opening doors literally for us when in serious times. And now the place has officially opened, I would like my own personal spa visit there ;) It’s so beautiful and clean!!! My boy can’t even wait to go back for regular shots. Dr. Freeman and her team of incredible ladies are the best! I am so happy and relieved to have found somewhere local. Highly recommend is an understatement!!! Thank you for all you have done for us!
