As a Pet Hospital, Kimberly Jennings, DVM functions as a central hub for various pet-related needs, focusing primarily on medical care. This category encompasses a wide array of services designed to diagnose, treat, and prevent illnesses and injuries in animals. Pet Hospitals typically provide a more comprehensive suite of medical services compared to basic clinics, often including surgical capabilities, advanced diagnostic tools, and hospitalization facilities.

Based on available information, including customer reviews, we can attempt to provide an objective overview of what you might expect from Kimberly Jennings, DVM. One positive review highlights the doctor's excellent communication skills and the warmth and friendliness of the staff, suggesting a welcoming and supportive environment for both pets and their owners. This indicates a commitment to clear explanations and a positive bedside manner, which are crucial aspects of quality veterinary care.

However, another, more detailed review presents some significant concerns regarding the practice's communication and client management. This review mentions difficulties in speaking with the doctor post-surgery, a lack of detailed pre-operative and post-operative instructions, and perceived issues with the receptionist's handling of client inquiries. Specific points of concern include the absence of prior notification about the necessity of a plastic collar, pain medication administration, and the extent of surgical shaving and the incision size. The customer also reported feeling pressured to proceed with the surgery and expressed frustration over the lack of direct communication with Dr. Jennings regarding their pet's care, especially after a substantial expenditure on veterinary services.

It's important for potential clients to consider both positive and negative feedback when evaluating a veterinary service. The positive review suggests that Dr. Jennings herself is a skilled and communicative veterinarian when available. However, the negative review raises questions about the clinic's operational efficiency, communication protocols, and potentially the workload management of the veterinary staff. These are critical factors that can significantly impact a pet owner's experience, regardless of the quality of medical care provided.

When choosing a Pet Hospital like Kimberly Jennings, DVM, local users typically look for a combination of factors, including the expertise of the veterinarians, the range of services offered, the quality of the facility and equipment, the professionalism and compassion of the staff, and clear and open communication. The environment of a Pet Hospital should ideally be clean, comfortable, and equipped to handle various medical procedures and treatments. Features that are often valued include advanced diagnostic capabilities (such as X-ray, ultrasound, and laboratory services), surgical suites, dental care facilities, and comfortable recovery areas for animals.

Based on the information available, it's difficult to provide specific details about the environment and the full range of services and features offered by Kimberly Jennings, DVM. However, as a Pet Hospital, it is likely to offer a standard suite of services including routine check-ups and vaccinations, diagnostic testing, surgical procedures (both routine and specialized), dental care, and treatment for illnesses and injuries. The extent of advanced services and the specifics of their facilities would typically be available through their website or by contacting them directly.

Regarding promotional information, there is no specific promotional content available in the provided data. Typically, Pet Hospitals might offer introductory discounts for new clients, seasonal specials on certain services (like dental cleaning or vaccinations), or wellness packages that bundle essential preventive care services at a reduced rate. To learn about any current promotions or special offers at Kimberly Jennings, DVM, it is recommended to contact them directly via phone or visit their potential website or social media channels if available.

In conclusion, Kimberly Jennings, DVM, operating as a Pet Hospital in Cocoa, Florida, offers veterinary care services to the local community. While one customer review praises the doctor's expertise and the friendly staff, another raises significant concerns about communication, particularly regarding post-operative care instructions and the ability to speak directly with the veterinarian. Potential clients are advised to consider all available information and perhaps contact the clinic directly to inquire about their specific needs, communication protocols, available services, and any current promotions to make an informed decision about their pet's care.

Since I was advised by the receptionist that the doctor was unable to speak to us about our cat that had elective surgery the day before, I’ll have to post it here. The excuse was she had 12 appointments that day. When I expressed my anger, I was hung up on. I simply wanted to stress the importance of not assuming customers know what will happen after surgery. We were not told the cat would have to wear a plastic collar for two weeks. We were not aware we would have to give pain meds for 4 days. We were also not aware of the amount of fur shaved off and the huge incision. It’s Was quite a shock when we let her out of the crate. The collar was too big for her to eat or drink. We had to take it off and cut it down. Dr. Jennings is an excellent vet. It seems as though she might be taking on too much business to take care about Of the clients she has. At a point, we were called almost daily to see if we were going to have the surgery done. It was borderline harassment. Had we been given the after care instructions before the surgery , we would have never had it done at that time. We have to travel back well before the two weeks needed to recover and have stitches removed. Now we have added expense of paying another vet to remove the stitches. Lastly, We paid close to $1000 this year for our 3 cats care. The doctor is too busy to talk to us is not acceptable. I don’t think Dr. Jennings would approve if she knew. Your business is only as good as the people answering the phone.

Dr. Jennings is a caring and awesome vet. Took our girl in with a bladder full of stones and she worked with us to remedy situation. Love that the vet takes time to discuss the issues with us. They are taking all precautions for COVID-19 and doing curbside service for drop off and pick up. Couldn’t ask for better service. Have had our other dogs there in the past. Dr. Eden is missed but Dr. Jennings is a fine replacement and he has been gone forever!!!

Very reasonable in regards to treatment pricing without losing the compassion. I can't say enough good about the staff and doctor herself!!! Each and every one of them made us feel like we were the only ones there and only ones that mattered. I'm glad my dog found them. I would not trust him with any other vet. Highly recommended!!!!
